Sun Chinese Takeaway in South Oxfordshire

Doesn't look the best from outside, but it's my favourite Chinese in Thame. Food just tastes natural and fresh compared to others which are just greasy and salty. Shame they don't deliver or take card but there are cash points near by.

Don't usually buy from the sun. The first Chinese takeaway I ate in Thame was from the sun over 20 yrs ago and was very ill. But I have to say the food was really delicious and no sickness at all! Will be back

The worst chinese I have ever had, BBQ ribs were inedible, I also had a duck curry. The duck was dry and chewy I gave up after 3 spoons. First and last time we use The Sun!!!

Always good, always good value, always very quick. You see the food being prepared and cooked. I find in take-a-way's the staff are what you make them. I don't understand what can go wrong! The staff (old and new) Sun have always been great for me. The food is great quality. Nuff said!

Me and my partner went to the sun In thame for a Chinese haven’t been here In a while always loved the food here never ever had a bad word to say . We came here today at 6:45 and ordered our food the same it has been for years . Well what can I say now for something so easy mad so difficult I asked for plan noodles let me say it again PLAN NOODLES without onions Well OMG it was like it was massive thing to ask for we asked for vegetarian sting roles which is normally 6 or 12 we got ONE!!! we got one for the price of 6 I also ordered sweet and sour sauce well let me tell you this it call came out in one big lump . A few friends and family have said not to go there is going down hill but always loved eating the food from here well I can assure you i will not be eating here again nor will I recommend this to anyone . It was disgusting no hair tied back lady with long black hair with no hair cap on .

O dear we have used the sun for years and would have given 5 stars. Now it seems new owner new chef. Tonight's take away barely edible. Had set menu g for 2 the tasty char siu was just over fried burnt pork and onions with no sauce. The rest was cold and not very tasty. They better get their act together otherwise won't be going back.

Disappointed, having used over the years .1 meal perfect but 2nd chickenfoo yung had egg shell ( fresh from chicken) I hope and egg fried rice was not hot .way to much onion between foo yung and stir fried mushrooms.

Went here because the one round the corner was a long wait. Very shabby shop but busy. Got a big take away and have to say it wasn't great. Stodgy. Over seasoned.

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway in Thame. Great service. Most dishes are as you would expect from any Chinese takeaway, but they have some awesome dishes you don't see elsewhere. I recommend the helpfully named 'Fried Chicken in Spicy Sauce' and 'Tasty Char Siu'.
