Jordan and her team run an incredible pub! You're always welcomed like a member of the family and the food and drink is of an excellent standard. A must-visit, rain or shine!

Just come out of here and left very stuffed and happy. We were only the 2nd table occupied (around 2.30pm on a Tuesdays), which was surprising as a very hospitable chap behind the bar which made for a lovely warm welcome .Had drinks and dried off by the open fire and our dog was treated to dog treats and water bowl.We then had a sneaky peak at a menu on the table next to us and our mouths started to water! Luckily they serve food all day, so that was it, decision made. 2 x Piri piri half roast chicken, padron peppers and hot sauce and coleslaw. Absolutely delicious. Be warned, the hot sauce is HOT. My husband had tears streaming down his face. All staff were very friendly, knowledgeable too when deciding what Ale or Beer to have.Prices very good too. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

After a long drive from Suffolk, my partner and I were looking for a nice spot to have something to eat and drink. As we were near Henley, we decided to give The Argyll a go. As we are both keen Midsomer Murders fans, we immediately decided this was the place to go. With a lovely atmosphere, good food and polite staff, The Argyll is a great place to enjoy good company over delicious food. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again! Hopefully to enjoy the Midsomer beer! Also showing the Six Nations, great stuff!

We went to the Argyll on a Thursday when it was steak night. Lovely food and impeccable service. The steak was really delicious and so reasonably priced. Having had steak in south Africa, this is the best steak I've had in the UK! The waiter, who was Irish, was so funny and welcoming and made our night. Already booked our next visit! Would highly recommend.

Great place, was so much nicer inside than expected from the alley way. Mains were expensive. Lunch menu was very meat heavy but when asked they accommodated a vegetarian alternative. Garden looks incredible for summer.

Came here for Steak night and wasn't disappointed. Fantastic service, great selection of drinks and the steak was cooked perfectly. Chicken burger was also a big hit. Didn't have room for dessert sadly. Dog enjoyed the fuss he got too.

Sunday lunch today . As it was a sunny day and we were wrapped up against the wind we sat in their outdoor area as they were fully booked inside . I had chicken and my husband had the vegetarian option . Huge portions and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Full marks .
