Excellent! Friendly, good food and a community pub! Amazing well done all 💕🙌

We have just discovered this lovely village pub after reading all the write ups and reviews in the local area. We received a fantastic welcome from a friendly lady who is the epitomy of excellent customer service. Our meals were absolutely delicious and nicely presented with generous portions. The local beers were a great addition too. We will certainly be returning again soon and would highly recommend this welcoming village pub

Lovely food and large portions, when we arrived at approximately 3 pm the we were told that the kitchen was closed. 2 minutes later the charming lady that served our drinks came and said that she had spoken to the chef and would happily prepare food for us. This is what a proper British pub is, looking after its customers. If i could award 10 stars I would. Many thanks Ian and Liz Taylor.

Great pub. The food was superb, a refreshing change from the generic meals you get served at the chain pubs. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely visit again in the near future. It's a shame all pubs aren't like this.

Fantastic community pub. The atmosphere is lovely and the place is beautiful. It has lovely sofas and a roaring fire. Basic menu but everything is well cooked and beautifully presented. Friendly staff too. It’s a wonderful place to have lunch or just have coffee and chill

Lovely place. Decided to visit here for a spot of lunch in way to Oxford based in previous Google reviews. Friendly staff and although we didn't book they were fine squeezing us in. Great idea having board games and cards to entertain your selves while eating and drinking.Would definitely visit again.

This pub we were happy to find as it’s only 10 mins away from home! It was so lovely, the bar staff and even the locals were so friendly, it’s dog friendly and they have this great selection of board games which we played a few of. They had a little fire going which made it feel really homely, the food was a great price and REALLY good. We’re definitely going to keep going back here, absolutely loved it.
