Just a good traditional pub as one always need when local town is rubbish. Food also looks good but have not eaten myself. Seems in a safe pair of long time owners.

Lovely pub garden area. Have a cold cider with my friends. Dogs are welcome too. Very nice! Well done!

Really disappointing. The roast potatoes were old and hard, I had to send my roast back as it was stone cold. Not enough gravy, my 9 year olds pizza was a microwave chiago pizza and the carrots bent because they were old and out of date. 1 roast potato, 1 brocolli and 1 carrot on a childs roast for £10 is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Excellent village pub. A selection of lovely real ales available, including one made locally and named after their dog!The staff are a delight and happy to help and chat away.Strongly recommend the food - the three nibbles with a bowl of chips is a great sharer between two for a good sized lunch.I will definitely be visiting again!

Excellent food, attractively served. Friendly staff. Lots of outside seating, including a number of tables under cover. We chose the 3 starters as lunch,( mine was the cheese and biscuits),with a free bowl of chips. Good selection of drinks. My coke was a pint though and I'd have preferred the option of a smaller size.
