The Mole Inn in South Oxfordshire

Upon hearing the positive reputation that The Mole Inn had acquired over its years of service, I was delighted to know that I would be attending for my partners mothers birthday celebration this last weekend.The restaurant delivers a warm & friendly personality with a more than pleasant atmosphere, graciously complimented by the delicious and creative menu on offer.After our meal we enjoyed friendly conversation with the landlord/Manager.Our party left The Mole Inn with nothing but positive comments and conversation regarding our experience and the quality of the meals and service offered.I myself, would highly recommend this establishment for any individual, couple or party looking for an enjoyable experience with quality food, friendly staff and positive atmosphere.

Superb food once again. The Steamed Mussels were amazing along with the Buffalo Wings my wife had as a starter. We both had the Stone Bass main course which once again was superb

Visited for Sunday lunch a month ago and returned today as a family birthday treat. Very busy and not suprised as the roasts are excellent. We never usually do Sunday lunch out as they can be so disappointing but the 7 of us had the beef, pork or lamb and everyone was satisfied. So thanks for some great memories, and we will be back in the near future.

We used to be big fans but had a disappointing experience last weekend. The mandatory online food pre-booking (for a table of 8?) with constant chasing made the process annoying and half the fun is looking at the menu when you're there.The staff meant well but the service was rough, we had to chase for multiple items/menus and the finger bowls/sauces etc from the starters and glasses weren't cleared from the table at all. We had 3 waiters serving the table but they didn't seem to talk to each other so it was very confused. We were served our starters within ten minutes of sitting down which again felt rushed and had to ask to give us some time before serving the mainsMost of the food was delicious to be fair, but the burgers were dry and tasteless. The menu was pretty limited, with one vegan option of risotto which isn't very good in 2022. It wasn't terrible overall at all, but just not at the standard of the reputation or the price.We were disappointed compared to earlier visits and probably won't rush back.

We had a lovely meal at the Mole, the staff were very attentive and the food came out quickly and was delicious. Although it was a busy day they managed it brilliantly and made sure we had a good time. Definitely will be returning.

Beautiful place, spent just under 10hours in here meeting and eating with friends. Staff nearly charged us rent. Great staff and service. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely place to visit, with very good indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick & accurate. Staff very pleasant. Rather poor choice of ales on handpump, only saw Hooky. I thought the food was very well done, but rather expensive for fairly small portions.

Wow what a find, had to go back 2 nights running during our holiday Stunning food and first class service

An amazing experience. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff, shown straight away to a table, then presented with an amazing menu. The food was top class, plenty of it, and the service was so good that we didn’t have to wait for a second for anything. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to be. Thoroughly professional all round. Well done!

One of the best roast beef I've had. Really tender and flavourful. The pate was really tasty as well. Would definitely be coming back to try out other dishes on their menu.
