Super country pub, you can always rely on good food here. Lovely countryside location with good car park. Staff are friendly and helpful and the menu is varied with a good selection to choose from. The food is good quality and portions very generous. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but it is good value for the price you pay and the ambience of this place is relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely be going back.

Incredibly friendly and pleasant. Lovely service, nice table even though just for one. Had 3 meats option roast (beef, pork and turkey). Veg was served separately. Well presented and huge Yorkshire pudding! Have had better roasts but nevertheless still tasty. The kind of place you take your Gran!

Despite having a function on I was warmly greeted even though arrived late evening, was served a lovely fresh roast meal in room.Bedroom clean and bed was so warm and comfortable.The traditional English breakfast was cooked to order and fresh and hot.Lovely hotel, will use again

We booked for Sunday lunch (necessary). I had the roast beef, really tasty, with all the trimmings. House red Shiraz was lovely. All the desserts looked good, had the cheesecake and Coffee. Will not be our last visit.

Brilliant staff. Fantastic food ,eaten in a really relaxing atmosphere. Great place to meet friends, for a drink, or eat. Very clean.

Have been here several times as its our Dad's favourite place to dine out locally. The service is friendly and efficient. Menu is a bit more than standard pub grub. Very well prepared and portion size is not mean, be warned ! Overall a big thumbs up.

The building is seriously ancient in parts, but has been sympathetically extended, and still has plenty of character. Service was perfect - smiley, friendly, brisk, efficient. Menu was extensive, and food quality excellent with generous portion-sizes. Prices fair

Had a really lovely Sunday roast. Best Yorkshire pudding I've ever had, and the turkey was deliciously moist. Pork, beef and nut roast got good reviews too! Had the fried brie to start which was amazing, and the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert - yum! The service was exceptional, very quick and attentive staff. Will definitely come back again!
