Very good Fish and Chips, prepared while you wait.

The team at The Plaice took my order with happy smiles, they cooked my order right there and then while dealing with a lot of other customers. My cod and chips were not rushed. The fish was steamed perfectly in the crispy golden batter. I will be reliving my childhood and asking for crispy bits when I next visit. Lovely Friday night treat🐟🍽️

The best fish and chip shop we have found in years and years

This is a great fish and chip shop spotlessly clean. Beautiful fish and chips and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Great fish crispy non greasy batter, and chips that were superb, lovely Staff, good breadth of menu and decent value.

Lovely food and great service... Just passing by and had to stop... The shop although a modist size, looks bright and welcoming.

Great food, not greasy like other chippys. Great portion sizes, beware large is LARGE! friendly staff and very clean. BUT one criticism, they DO NOT accept debit cards despite what the Google thingy says. Cash only. Still gave 5 stars though.

Really good crispy fish tasty chips but a bit soft. Had to wait awhile probably 5 to 10 minutes but it was very early in the evening. Lots of it and very filling lovely

As a Trader and someone who loves fish and chips on a biweekly basis I was shocked to find that these boys have taken the flavour just to that next level.Fish big fat juicy amazing batter something in it don't know what it is but it is something special.Chips big chunky soft.Curry sauce really nice especially with a squeeze of lemon juice in it which you get with the fish.Big portions.Will see you again soon when I'm next in the area

One of the few chip shops I have to stop at if driving past. Large fresh cods. Of the few places I've found outside Scotland that does curry deep fried + battered spring rolls and love them.
