Lovely pub in Marston. Good choice on the menu reasonably priced. Went for lunch quick service, not too busy Would recommend

A very welcoming and friendly place. Stayed over in our van. Food and drinks were lovely. Choice of a bus right outside, 30 minute walk into the centre and even the taxi we had back as a treat after a long day was only £10. Couldn't want for better! Oh and dog friendly!! We will absolutely be back! Thank you 😊

Great location, well run pub. The current landlord has managed the pub for twelve years. Wonderful food, friendly staff and ample parking.

Parked my campervan overnight whilst in Oxford for business meetings. Fantastic pub, friendly, superb hospitality and great food - thoroughly recommended - definitely coming back for more!!!!!

·

Very friendly and helpful landlord (Stuart), fantastic location for Oxford city centre. Bus stops outside and only £3.80 return - dog went free. Apparently only a 20 minute walk to the City (get directions from landlord). Didn't have chance to sample the food but we will be back.

Enjoyed our lunch here today. Very polite gentleman behind the bar who served us, very good value food, good portion sizes for kids and adults. Plenty of parking and a lovely outdoor seating area. Definitely worthwhile.

Phoned to book an overnight stay, turned up at 11am, were met by friends and didn't return until late so didn't get to use the pub unfortunately. When we left in the morning the owner said don't worry about paying!First class service, nicely mown grassy area, just a shame we didn't get to use the pub. Next time!

Gorgeous place to drink and eat outside, loads of space, covered in case of bad weather, as well as floral displays, we ordered a rib meal between us and this was plenty for both of us and the chips were stunning! I'm usually not a big fan of chips but these were delicious...yummy!!They also sell East Coast ipa...a favourite of mine.

For drinks: decently priced, well kept. For food decently priced and decent quality for traditional pub food. The building itself it wonderful. Quaint inside with a nice outside patio area. I am very happy with it being a fairly regular pub for me.
