Visited the spa and received 2x25 minute treatments. The staff were friendly and informative. Although I know it’s hard to cage but it would have been nice to have the treatments with less talk so that I could really relax. Also this is my fault I wish I’d asked for the exact products used so that I could have purchased them if available.

Booked an afternoon tea for my mother's birthday. I really think they had forgotten we were coming, despite a phone call the day before. 45 minutes wait for someone to come and ask us what we wanted to drink and the same again before the tea came out. The sandwiches were dried up, the scones were shop bought and so were the cakes. When asked what the cakes were, the waitress said I will ask the chef! I think all she needed to do was look in the bin for the packaging! £21 per head, it was very disappointing and sub standard. Would not recommend or go there again.

Generally a very rundown and unclean hotel/Spa. Rubbish left everywhere. Gym equipment probably the oldest and dirtiest I've ever seen in a gym. No precautions in place to prevent spread of viruses, etc. Some staff are nice and helpful, others useless and unprofessional.Sauna was unavailable due to maintenance, no one seemed to know why or until when, but I can't imagine I missed much, because other spa facilities are overcrowded and unclean. The changing rooms were constantly messy.Excuses will be made ("due to COVID, etc") but ultimately it is overpriced and poorly run.Just a joke.Don't come here.

Very average. Good sized, very clean bedrooms. Drinks - very expensive. Food - dreadful and expensive. Their current Chef cannot cook! Avoid dining here. Be very careful when making reservations and checking out ... they bill you for breathing but in fairness, upon complaint errors were corrected by the excellent Reception Manager.

Came here in August and again in October for Murder Weekends and stayed an extra night beforehand. The hotel had no record of bookings or payment, ran out of basics such as tea on both occasions, and ignored specific requests, most of which had been promised in written communication. During my last visit, on the first morning of a four day stay I was bothered on no less than four occasions by staff telling me I shouldn't be in the room, I should have checked out, and even in the afternoon being threatened with being charged extra for failing to vacate the room by the deadline. The whole experience was so bad I told them I would never again stay there or at any other Hilton Hotel and asked for at least some of the money back - they offered me "rewards points" in a scheme I have never used nor am I likely to ever again. When I complained in writing they couldn't even find evidence of my first stay. Disgraceful service from a supposedly reliable name.

Spent a lovely afternoon in the Spa. Staff at the hotel were lovely. The pool is a good size although the area could do with a touch up. The treatments were fantastic and the therapists knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Poor service! Arrived 30mins early to start 10 minutes late as the therapist couldn’t be bothered. We overheard her saying she knew we were there but was busy doing something else (I MEANNN!!) It was the brunette one with a stinking attitude. No rapport whatsoever. Massage was ok but she had a problem as I said as firm as she could go. Wasn’t asking for a Jurassic Park job! Facial was so basic and I’ve got a lot of redness today which is weird. Appointment was yesterday as a birthday treat but was left underwhelmed. Hotel and spa is so old and outdated air con leak marks on the roof on the treatment room which is always good (not). Music in treatment room was so low as if they had people sleeping next door. Treatment was meant to be 50 minutes and 25 minutes but all in all I was treated for less time and the forms were a joke. Never again !!

Big thanks to Joanna & Sarah for making our Spa Break such a lovely experience. My girlfriend and I needed a relaxing getaway. Belfry spa was the perfect place to let go, chill and enjoy a full body massage. Would reccomend 10/10.

Quite bad customer service. On arrival, not friendly at all, quite cold. I was told I'd get an hour and half treatment of massages for a friends birthday over the phone. We arrived 10 minutes late and she was sent out 20 minutes early. We were not informed to come early to fill out forms either. So basically, charged over £100 for something that a mediocre 45 minute massage in total. When I went back to speak to the therapist, she was extremely rude and not apologetic at all. Would never recommend the spa here. Appalling service for having called themselves the Doubletree Hilton.
