Proper pub, pub that hasn't been gastropubbed yet.

Thought I had booked a table for 2 but when arrived at the pub was told not doing food due to refurbishment. Disabling the booking service would have helped .Lager and wine very good 👍

Oh my goodness , I had the best breakfast and Sunday lunch I've had for a long time . highly recommended, they have a talented chef Fiona. Can't praise it highly enough , you really need to try it if you haven't already! X

Very good roast and friendly staff. First visit to the pub and the children also loved the food. We will visit again. Very well priced menu.

Quaint English local, sunny seats outside, nice Indian landlord, basically frozen food but good of its kind, good beer

Not the place we once enjoyed with first class food. Now a shadow of its former glory. Dirty, unkempt, dreadful cheap quality offerings. Suffice to say we will not be back.

Lovely old pub, good service, nice meal, standard pub grub but very reasonably priced.

Great times at the Shoes - food is always lovely, and it is a classic local village pub. Been coming here for years. Came out for a friend's birthday last week and service was a smidge slow, but working in the industry I know how they felt. Good job all!
