What an absolutely fabulous Pub/Restaurant, The Unicorn is!! We booked dinner for four on the evening of Sat 10th April. When we arrived, the bar was very, very busy with an extremely large number of visitors who had apparently arrived 2 hours later than expected and we thought that this may ruin our dining experience. It did not.Despite this number of additional visitors, we were given excellent table service by a very pleasant, friendly, young lady who was totally unflustered by the added pressure of so many customers at once. Our food was served in good time and was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was that of a good old traditional, friendly, local and the customer service was exceptional.I would have no hesitation in recommending The Unicorn to friends & family and will most definitely be returning,

This is a unique and quirky pub, gorgeous food, very friendly and helpful staff, book ahead to reserve a place if requiring food, outside eating area. Be advised the car park is small, so get the bus instead, stops right outside 😁

Called into the pub for the first time in 60yrs, I use to live down the lane opposite on a farm 60yrs ago This was our local most nights beer then 4 pts a £1 Light & larger, I have always said to the wife we will have to call in to see how things have changed, Yes it has changed quit a bit, I see a photo on the wall that was it back then,I talked to 2 locales nice gents, More then i can say for the two young Ladys be hide the bar no smile or no any thing.just attitude. The young bar man was ok, could not get a meal had not booked Thats were the two young Ladys had an attitude,We might call back in 60yrs or so. Just to say this pub was top notch back then but as they say time change thing's. Sorry can not rate the food. Looks very Price'y,

Lovely place, friendly staff! We just had a drink in the garden but I plan to come back to test the food. Seems to be tasty!

came here with my family as a celebration of school finishing, the food was amazing! so so delicious and it didn't take too long either 😍 i know seating is all outdoors bc of covid but under the markee, it got quite loud and a bit claustrophobic but i totally understand why and it follows the guidelines, just seemed a bit tight on space. however, overall it was a perfect evening
