Visited on a Thursday evening. Group of four. Very warm and friendly. Good choice of beers, spirits and gins. Friendly staff. Amazing burgers especially the pork belly burger. The chocolate brownie is highly recommended for dessert. Will definitely visit again.

Staff has always been friendly & smiling whenever we visited. Good quality food, the ribs were well cooked and the beef burger was juicy. Dogs welcome, which is a bonus for us and there were access to water bowls.

Took the grandkids for a carvery on Sunday, was amazed by the customer service particularly from Tracey and Kerry. Both lovely ladies who took a second to have a laugh with the kids despite being rushed off their feet. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be returning regularly.

This place is such a find, the food is fantastic! Plenty of Pizzas and burgers to choose from and the waffles are amazing. Saw that they are doing fish and chips on a Wednesday, will definitely pay them another visit. Kelly was also a great host, thank you for a lovely meal.

The pub was very dated and needs revamping...the food was ok.. the menu was basic and the price was crazy high... something you would expect in London.. not a previous green king in a little village.. the atmosphere was rather negative...However the staff was very friendly and engaging. In my opinion the pub needs to be a bit more competitive with the other pubs in the village...

1 of friendliest, entertaining & loveliest places I've been to. Drinks were lovely, people responsible, food tasty & the owner, ver sociable. Make sure you visit, I'll be back!

We were bike packing through the chiltern hills and decided to stop here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The food was so delicious. I had the halloumi burger and it was great. Homemade relish, healthy portion of halloumi and the burger bun stole the show for me. It was so fluffy and light - also homemade! The skin on fries were crispy and tasty.Best part of my visit was the service though, the two lovely people who served us were friendly, helpful and just so pleasant. I’ll be coming back! Oh and they do Guinness!
