The White Hart in South Oxfordshire

Stayed her 3 weeks ago for one night only luckily! Booked twin room but wasn't expecting the beds to be 2ft 6ins, more child size than adult. One bed had been sat on so much that the side had concertinad so avoid Room 19 (Mulberry). Bedroom floor was dusty, bedside table lights didn't work and Roman blind at window was broken. Still awaiting an apology from owners.

Lovely country Pub/HotelStaff are super welcoming and friendly.Loved the decor and our room was very clean and cosy. Great food will be back sometime soon.

Pleasant respectful staff. Food was outstanding. The venue is just wonderful. And they braai ekse.had a awesome time and they had plenty of parking which helps alot.a must pub to visit if your going through to that neck of the woods.

The unexpected South African element of the menu and of the wine list was a pleasant surprise. Great to find something original and authentic. Great service too.

Mediocre, very bland down-market menus, clearly catering for the uninspired clientele who consider cheese in a burger as exotic. Dull rooms with highly sporadic cleaning

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this pub hotel. The staffs were polite and friendly and they treated their guests with courtesy and respect.The room was beautiful and quirky with two walk in closets, a shower room and a bath in the main bedroom. I had a really good night sleep. It was such a shame that I had to leave! Overall this is a charming little pub in the quiet countryside.Breakfast was another surprising excellent experience. large portions and decent quality, the food was cooked well.Dining option wasn’t extensive but there was enough on the menu even for a fussy person like I am. Plenty of parking available to keep your car safe.Tip: Book the restaurant early if you intend to eat here.

Having read the reviews on this hotel I nearly avoided it but am so glad that I didn’t. The staff were so friendly and efficient and the food was both plentiful and of an excellent quality. This just shows how reviews are not always right. !!!

I stayed in the hotel and as soon as I walked through the door I was made to feel so welcome. The friendliness, hospitality, presentation, cleanliness and comfort were absolutely ideal. The food was fantastic too, so if you want a great atmosphere and a lovely meal then I would highly recommend it.

The Sunday roast is amazing! We were so impressed that we returned the following week and brought the parents who also loved the food. Real home cooked taste with lots of extra touches that you know a lot of love goes into the preparation… 😋

We hadn't booked and it was just after Sunday lunch time . We were found a table by a lovely young team member . We had the carvery and it was delicious , but have to say the staff were lovely and attentive . It was our first time there and we were impressed .
