The White Horse in South Oxfordshire

When we turned up, the outside looked a bit shabby and I wondered if we should drive away. But, inside was clean and cosy, with a warm welcome. The food was REALLY good. There were 3 of us in the group and we had different meals - all were presented nicely, tasted amazing and were good sized portions. Even though a bit of a drive away, we will be back. I will take photos next time!

Dropped in on a Saturday lunchtime just as we happened to be passing - delicious lunch (Red Thai Curry and Egg Fried Rice) - even my 9yo had to steal some!Good value and charming service. Definitely a hidden gem!

Service very quick. Food absolutely wonderful, best restaurant meal I have ever had. Good portions of very tasty Thai food. If I lived near I would visit here every week or so. It was nearly full on a Wednesday, understandably.

I've been going to Anwar's for more than a decade and he's hit the nail on the head: an unpretentious and welcoming atmosphere alongside flavoursome, affordable Thai food and good beer.

As ever a really warm & friendly atmosphere, and great food. Lots of choice on the menu, and the dishes came out very quickly. Chicken satay, squid and the veg. spring roll starters all great flavours, then had pad tail, padang beef and sizzling duck all delicious Great evening.

Last minute booking. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The prices are great but we found the food a little bland. I asked for a jungle curry as i like spice, when the waiter put it on the table he informed us it was mild which we queried as it was not requested and he told us it was still spicy. Didn't find it to have even a kick. Its a shame as i was expecting the food to be outstanding with all reviews. The owners and wait staff are so lovely though you feel bad if you moan

Never had a bad meal in here. Probably go once a month. Lovely staff, amazing food and great prices. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely pub, with very lovely staff. We stayed for some vegetarian meal and a beer, both were very tasty and extra lovely made on the plate. Was delicious, we will definitely visit again. Would recommend to anyone that is nearby or wants to go to a nice pub with lots of parking space also. Cheers 🥂 you will like it. Check the photos and video!
