Villa Marina in South Oxfordshire

What a refreshing change. Good service, excellent quality food, great environment and truly value for money.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and genuine in their demeanour. It was a 3-course meal for £22 per person. Excellent presentation and fresh ingredients with simple preparations to fully bring out the flavours. I had the Mozzarella salad, sea bass, and a chocolate sponge. 10/10 value for money, excellent service, great ambience for a date/meal with friends, delicious food. We will be back for more!

Villa Marina is a traditional Italian restaurant overlooking the river. The food was ace, seafood spaghetti to start, prawns were perfectly cooked, squid was a bit over, overall very nice. Main was the special lamb, rare and was cooked correctly, rich gravy and nicely complimented the meat, was not disappointed, accompanied by a selection of veg for the table. Tiramisu, one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time - highly recommend! Service was definitely worth the charge, service was attentive, also was given a finger bowl for my main after staff saw I picking the lamb off the bones, extra credit for that. Reasonably priced. Parking is an issue due to location, there are a few spaces on the road, or a car park 7 mins walk away (free after 7pm)

Classic Italian restaurant in Henley that has been popular for many years. Menu is reasonably priced and house wine is good at £23 but the wine list is extensive.Great service even when busy.Will be back for more!

Amazing food, fantastic service and a lovely quiet ambiance to enjoy the evening

Loved the linen table cloths.Good italian food.Maitre d' could be better. Surprisingly dismissive with not even a thank you or smile when we paid around £200 on a rainy mid week evening. We didn't feel made welcome or valued.

Tasty food. Bit expensive for my budget, but luckily a family member was feeling generous and paid. I had the prawn starter, followed by chicken and cheese plus veg, followed by strawberry cheesecake. Pleased with my choice, as it seems (according to others) that it was the tastiest choice on the menu.

Had two weeks in Henley in September and ate out most nights. This restaurant was undoubtedly and easily the best of them all and that's saying something as all the other places we ate too were excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and presented by friendly and knowledgable staff. They offer far more than just pasta and pizza. I had calves liver and my wife had swordfish, both were perfect. Thanks for a lovely meal and evening.
