Zigana Turkish Kitchen in South Oxfordshire

Really good food at this friendly restaurant. The picture is of a mixed starter, which I had as a main course and it was plenty for me. My wife's kebabs were also good. The only negative is the service was a bit slow, especially waiting to pay, but it's worth it.

I've had more takeaways from Zigana than I can count, plus a couple of restaurant meals, and they have been fantastic every time. The food is fresh and beautifully spiced (even the complementary side salad!) and the portion size is very generous. A go-to for a treat in our household.

Had lunch there today and was sadly very disappointed. Upon being seated, with only one other table occupied.. we had to wait 10 minutes to be served. We ordered drinks and starters. Starters were served but still had not gotten our drinks orders. The wait staff had no interest is service delivery and had to be flagged down to remind them of the drinks order (within arm's reach of our table)Starters arrived and both dishes were clearly previously frozen and of poor quality, not worth the steep cost. Mains arrived and although the scraps of meat provided with in were tasty there was far too little of it and the wraps were soggy. The accompanying fries were also of poor quality and I suspect also from a frozen package of some sort. We did not finish the main course or the fries.No offer of a second drink order was received.Upon attempting to pay for the bill we had to flag down the single waiter 10 minutes after indicating we wanted to pay... This request was brushed off and eventually some one other than the waiter arrived to allow us to pay.Sad really as this could have been an opportunity to experience some quality Turkish food however we left with frozen food repeating on us and a lighter wallet feeling like it was not worth your money.Unfortunately we will not return and advise you to think twice before dining here.

Very good food and service.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Plenty of choice and great value. Portions are big, but they'll happily supply you with a takeout box to take it home. We were all stuffed! Only managed to picture the starters. We're already planning another visit. The waitress was also very attentive and helpful.

Great food. We have had dine in and takeaway and never once had any issue with the food or service. Always a really enjoyable meal.

Great Turkish coffee. Definitely worth a stop. The dolmades were also delicious, and atmosphere is generally nice and we'll decorated.

We had a lovely family celebration dinner here tonight, the food was great and the staff were really attentive and friendly with a speedy service. Also on a side note the ladies bathroom facilities were amazing! Great job, lovely atmosphere and would highly recommend 👌

SO SO good!!! Like food was dancing on my tongue. But sshh don't tell anyone 😉 healthier options are available as well as plenty of veggie options. They do a takeaway service so plenty of people do that too, though I can't comment on what the takeaway service is like as we've only ever eaten in. There is parking out the front and wheelchair friendly front door too.Update: we've been back three more times since, and each time has been equally as great!Further update: wish I hadn't written this review now 😂 takes three weeks to get a table here. It really is such a good place to eat!
