Bombay Indian Restaurant in Southampton

Ordered a lamb vindaloo with pilau rice, the dish was absolutely beautiful, the service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

After waiting 2.5 hours to get the food it turns up completely stone cold. All of the containers are 1/4 full at most. I called up to talk to someone about the issues and they really don't care at all. In fact the lady on the phone was very rude. 0 customer service at all. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Never order from here.

We just waited 45 minutes past our delivery time and they STILL deserve 5 stars! The food was absolutely amazing...the manager was very apologetic about the lateness, but they were so busy and delivery drivers down....it's so difficult to cook under such pressure but the food was the best I've tasted...be patient, I promise its worth the wait

Absolutely amazing. I was worried about trying a new Indian takeaway as mine was closed.. I think I must of repeatedly said "oh my god through the whole plate!" everything was perfect and the meat was so tender and juicy even got a free dish. My new go to takeaway 😋

Mumbai !! It has it all. As a student this place kicks in nostalgia whenever I order food from here. N number of times. The taste have been consistent and quantity is worth the price. Since living close by going to the place buying fetches you some discount if you pay in cash. That’s my tip for the newbies around.Biriyanis are good choice if you wish to have tummy full! In fact more than that. Priced well . Parathas I have never seen so big even in india. That was the happiest discovery the day ordered it. ! Being regular visitor tried their kings prawns Biriyani, chicken dopyaza, all other Biriyani etc. all have been nice. Keema naan and keema rice are also worth a try.There are many other Indian take always around but Mumbai with its name and my old connection to it even though me being from Kerala makes me go back to this place for its taste and price.Highly recommend.Suggestion to the Owner: Student discount on student id 😜. Well one day I would expect it to be brought it. 😍!

BEST in Southampton, no BEST in England as I travel a lot and tried so so many places around England! Nothing comes close to this place, each and every curry is outstanding, with taste and bursting with flowers! Very friendly and nice people too, no issues with their curry's or customer service. They are a bunch of good and hard working people In here, always happy, helping manner. 5 star isn't enough for them, A class curry's and people! I don't believe if anyone is giving them negative reviews, I have been their customers for years now so don't believe anyone negative here!!! All positive and good! Thank you and see you soon.
