Excellent food with a lot of portions..we really loved it

Nice kebab place, nice for a midnight snack coming back from clubs. Not as cheap as they used to be maybe just about worth it maybe a bit expensive

Really good. Piping hot when arrived. Salad was sent separately and what a difference. Chips are lovely Definitely recommend this.

Nice people here, you can eat in or out. Everything is freshly made.

The food isn't bad for a late night kebab house. However I asked if it was possible to substitute chips on a £8.50 meal deal for something else, they said onion rings. After I agreed I got given a whole portion of onion rings and a drink for £10. If anything I wanted less food!Also I asked for a small amount of chili sauce and my wrap was smothered, making it almost inedible.

I'm somewhat of a minor celebrity with chippys in Southampton, it's my worst habit and I go three times a week. But I'd argue that Charcoal Grill goes beyond my greatest expectations everytime.1) The only chip shop that consistently heats your cheesy chips so they melt.2) Generous portions - filling the container everytime. Never too much sauce.3) On-point chip ratio, never crisp up in the cold and never too soggy.4) Lovely staff, super friendly. Recognise you if you go even twice.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I won't have a kebab from anywhere else in Southampton & with an easy website ordering system it's dangerous. I have been coming here for years and always mean to leave a review. The staff are friendly when ordering in person too. So if you want to see for yourself try a small chicken shish kebab with extra chilli sauce (sauce is amazing), extra garlic mayo & extra salad - OMG enjoy 😋

Hands down, the best kebabs and burgers in Southampton. Friendly staff, quality food and great value for money. I can recommend either the chicken doner or the messy burger. Always a wonderful experience 😊👍👍👍
