Coffee#1 Portswood in Southampton

Wonderful service. Superb server, whilst running the place on her own, made the best double espresso, dealt with unbearably rude customers- didn't even bite at the customer telling her about her PhD while telling her to smile- and made my baby laugh. Completely unflustered by the horrendous rudeness of aforementioned customer, she continued masterfully brewing with one hand, spinning plates with another, toasting teacakes with her elbow and remaining calm with a glorious stiff upper lip. Please note that comment below was posted before she'd been caffeinated, it's not her fault she was so rude- or maybe it is

The girl who served in the morning date 26.05.22 is supper annoying. No smile in her face and offering food just like we asked it for free. She served a food to the table like throwing with a big noise. She seems like undergoing so much. The worst experience ever. Don’t ever go there if you need to relax, your whole day will be ruined 😠

The serving blonde girl was so rude to use. Didn't talk didn't want to pay attention. No reply to a good morning at least just take the order like a robot with long face. Feel like we are her enemy. While she serve the breakfast plate she throws the plate at us almost it get smash to ground. Not sure why is going on with her. But management should look and sort this out. This is the first time I'm experiencing something like this in portswood.

Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, various types of seating available.wheelchair access within the café.Toilets locked by code number and not wheelchair friendly.

Nice service and very chilled atmosphere. Better than other coffee one's I've been to but always missing lots of food items due to supply issues? Is that still happening as nobody else seems to be struggling any more?

Good coffee. Not very hot but quality. Lovely place to chill. Decent prices and nice welcoming staff

Lovely place, has a Chic look & feel, one guy serving with the queue going out the door, so waited 20 minutes to be served, was it worth the wait… 🤔.The veganuary offer is fairly appealing it’s a must try & the hot chocolate is fairly yummy, four out of five for this trip.P.S local parking is a nightmare!

So today I popped into the portswood coffee one ordered a Large Cappuccino was good 👍..But then I ordered a large Caramel Frappe tbh it was disappointing it's Tasted like cold sweet Milk Expected a shot of coffee in it .like I've had before

This is one of my 'go to' places when I need to do some work or just chill out. There is a social space outside, inside, and a quiet zone to work. The wall morals are beautiful and the original features are cosy.Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Nice place , lovely food, the price is okay. I love the interior design of it. The staff is lovely and always have a smile on:)The coffe is tasty and the special coffe can be really interesting for coffe lovers. The cakes are superb :)They even have a bookshelf full of books for every age and interest.
