Evergreen Chinese Takeaway in Southampton

Just visited my mother down in blackfield from Southampton, we decided to have a takeaway from Evergreen. Best Chinese food I've had in years, cooked nicely , not greasy . Well done guys.

Nice food, quickly prepared and reasonably priced.

Ordered my delivery at 5:11 and got told that it would be with me within half an hour. An hour and a half later I decided to ring up and ask where my food was. I then got told my delivery had not been put through the system and I had to re order and wait again. I waited another hour and they didn't deliver my second order. I've had enough at this point and will be calling to cancel my order and order from elsewhere. This Is a joke and I am not happy

1st time ordering. Really enjoyed our food. Excellent service from the staff and quick delivery time. Would definitely recommend

Great food, quite a long wait for collection as they were very busy.

First time I have used this Chinese, rang up and spoke to a nice lady, gave my order to deliver however I tried to explain I live in Fawley just round the corner but my house is hard to see, she assured me no worries it will b fine. After 45 minutes and no call and considering I only live 8 mins away I rang bk at that point had to stand at the side of the road and wait for the driver after she finally listened to my instructions. But then the driver didn't have any change so I had to pay more for my food than it costs, food was nice but far to much hassle!

Have been a regular for sometime, however following the recent ordeal of finding "Possum Poops" in my rice, I have reported to Environmental Health and want to make others aware of the Hygiene concerns. I am disappointed and shocked of my findings and will no longer be a returning customer again.

Worst Chinese take away in the local area. I've seen some things in there that would turn a billy goats stomach. Get yourselves to Hong Kong Palace in Holbury (5 mins away) if you want a decent Chinese meal.

Not the worst food ive had but certainly not the best. Pros - does a lovely chowmein. Cons - other dishes are not on par with other chinese food in the area. Recent refurb so will need to see if things have improved.
