A very nice pizza 🍕. We all enjoyed the ambience and the food. Just a shame that there are no beers on tap.

Very disappointed on this occasion visiting the Franco Manca restaurant in West Quay complex Southampton.We were sent an email advertising ‘any pizza £5 when you take-out’ so we spontaneously decided to go along and try it out. It seemed very busy, but you’d expect this for a Friday night. There were lots of staff around and everyone was catering for the customers.I looked at the menu and chose to order the number 7 spicy salami pizza and we placed our order at 19:30. The friendly member of staff advised a wait time of approximately 20-25 minutes maximum for our order of one pizza.We chose to have a walk around and returned to the restaurant at around 19:55. I just patiently waited outside, but it got to 20:05 at which point I decided to ask where my pizza was as it had been 41 minutes for the single pizza (not a large order). I was told it would be 5 minutes.At around 21:15 approx the pizza came and my name was called, but during the process we never got much of an apology, and aside from the fact it was slightly busy, I didn’t understand why it still took approx 45 minutes for our single pizza to come.Had I been told the wait was 45 minutes (not 20/25 mins) I probably wouldn’t have ordered.The pizza was very hot and fresh, the cheese was lovely however it was lacking a decent amount of topping, namely onion and salami. It was on there, but in a minimal quantity. The pizza was nicely boxed up and very fresh, leading to me giving a review of 2 stars.I personally believe this restaurant is capable of better, however my experience at face value was a long wait for a pizza and a lack of topping on the pizza, overall leaving me to describe this experience on Friday.

Customer service excellent, one of our pizza's was over cooked on the base so our waiter replaced it straight away and refunded the cost of it! The drinks are very reasonably priced too.

Fantastic pizza, very quick service and very friendly staff. No complaints all around. Went with an Italian who said it’s the best pizza outside of Italy. If that isn’t a compliment I don’t know what is…

The pizza is amazing! I had Stilton & Hazelnut and my husband had the Meat Special. The base of both pizzas was the best we have had. Will only order from here from now on! 10/10!

It was my first time visiting Franco Manca this week and my whole experience was brilliant! Our waitress was so happy and bubbly which makes the experience of going for dinner so much better and fun. The food was obviously amazing, but the staff really shone out for me!

great location, with lovely views of the city walls and an open kitchen so you can watch your pizza being made from scratch. varied, reasonably priced menu with a good veggie option and the best pizza in the UK! friendly, good atmosphere and one of the waiters is absolutely gorgeous, ask for Peto 😉❤️

Out shopping looking for a giid pizza... I got it, it was tasty service was good thanks

As an italian, I can say that at Franco Manca you will eat a proper pizza. Lovers of the pineapple pizza stay away, at Franco's you will find good quality ingredients of the Italian culinary tradition. The dough of the pizza has no comparison with the garbage Domino's, Pizza Hut and Papa John's sell. Highly recommended.

Tasty pizza, good value for money. Quick service. A bit loud by the kitchen, but could still hold a conversation.
