The reviews are so varied but all I can say is I found this hotel to be truly excellent. The public areas are stylish and beautifully clean. The bar is lovely and intimately lit in the evening. Reception staff are warm, welcoming and ever so helpful. Bar staff are delightful and one has been working here for over two decades! My room was excellent…one bedside lamp was not working…but this is a small detail.Very comfortable bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Shower was hot and had good pressure.Breakfast was superb! So much to choose from. Even smoked salmon with fresh lemon and capers! A very relaxing breakfast dining room too…good choice of relaxing music.Well done, Team. You got it so right!

I have stayed in multiple hotels for work and this so far is the worst experience I have got. Not recommended for extended period of stay. But for a short stay, the hotel is located at prime location with nice bathtub.Positive1. Prime hotel location, walking distance to a prime mall and nice restaurants nearby. To improve1. 1 out of 2 lifts does not work for more 1.5 weeks, still does not work when I cheched out. Imagine the rush hours when you have to check in / out. Use the stairs.2. No fridge, not ideal for extended stay.3. The hot water shower does not work for 2 out of 30 days of stay. And no one picks up at the reception.4. Despite most of my time I did not stay in the hotel. False fire alarm rang for 2 out of 30 days of stay. Without announcement of it being a actual fire alarm or not, walked down to reception and being told that it's a false alarm.5. Sent my laundry and they lost my sweater that I have only wore once. Followed up few times but never get back to me ever.

The view from the balcony was very nice, but to open the balcony door you need a lot of strength. The staff was very nice and helpful, but only one person at the reception which led to standing in a queue. Gives 3 stars due to the lack of heating in my room, the air conditioning did not work and in the corridor it was cozy and warm. We reported the problem to the reception desk when I returned to the room, they put a small heater that will not heat such a large room.If the heating does not work, they should fix the fault. For 200f a night, I expect the possibility of setting the temperature in the room.

What an appalling excuse as a hotel! I spend my working life in basic hotels which are much more superior than this complex! The bedroom has a window that doesn't seal so you have the pleasure of a draft all night long. The bathroom has a list of faults that's too long to list on here. All I will say is if you where looking at booking here DON'T!!!! Move on from this hotel and do yourself a favour and book elsewhere if what you're after is a pleasant stay. The spa facilities are a real let down here! The swimming pool stone cold and everything just generally run down! Total disappoint!

Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, o ly downfall is balconies could do with a good clean over, makes it look untidy from that perspective. Staff are polite friendly and are always there to help. I didn't get long enough to experience the rest of the hotel, if I get to venture again I will surely trial more activity and food.

From the beginning I was unimpressed with the service I received over the telephone by reception. Sometimes no one even answered, on one occasion I got put through to the service area and seemed to be speaking to a member of the cleaning staff, who was polite but unable to help. We couldn’t use the original booking as our guest could not fly from Central America due to Covid restrictions. No refund available as we hadn’t bought their cancellation insurance never suspecting Covid or anything like it. Struggled to rearrange date. We were due to book in on 2 March this year. Having already paid and being unwell we didn’t turn up on 2 March believing the room would be free as we had paid for it. We called on 5 March to find out that they had put us down as no show. In effect taken the money and presumably let the room to someone else without any form of communication before or after. Most hotels do send booking reminders welcoming you just before the booking date, but nothing. We were advised to call back and selected option 7. No answer. We would never book here again.

Excellent location, staff couldn’t have been more accommodating for a party of 10 for birthday celebrations. All rooms were good sized and clean, beds were comfy. We couldn’t eat in the Marco Pierre White restaurant as it was closed but opted for Leo’s Bar menu. Steak burger and Hake were beautifully presented and tasted lovely, all food hot and served together. Good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast and again staff very accommodating. Fabulous stay had by all

It was just a crash pad for a trip to the theatre, and was great for what we needed. We didn't make use of any of the hotel facilities though so can't comment about anything other than the room. The rooms are nice enough, the important things have been refurbished (nice bed, big new TV, lighting and (most of) the decor is nicely done, and the bathroom is fine. What perhaps jars a little is that the stuff from the 90's that would be difficult/expensive to replace (e.g. fitted wardrobes and doors) haven't been changed. It's a little thing that doesn't impact on using the hotel as a crash pad, or for work, but would stop me using it if I was looking for a hotel for a nice weekend with the wife.

Nice location, friendly staff, clean and stylish throughout. We did not book breakfast but we had our morning coffee in the breakfast area and it was as good as you could get! Also hotel management was very nice to offer a generous discount for some unexpected issues we encounter. I do recommend this hotel unreservedly to anyone who wants real value for money. Thank you.

Had the most fantastic stay here over the weekend. The staff are super polite. We booked the penthouse suite and it was out of this world the views from the balcony where lovely to wake up to. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and so much easier being self service. Didn't use the pool or spa but they looked good will absolutely be returning to the hotel.
