Haven't been there for a while, but lovely chips & pineapple fritter. Tried the spring rolls. Not to my liking. Taste was nice, but texture was a bit mushy. So won't be having them again. Won't put me off going again tho.

Changed owners. Read reviews but decided to give it a go. When I arrived I nearly changed my mind as not a soul in the shop when they used to be queueing out the door any day of the week. Shop was clean but Frier not wearing mask and wiping hands on a dirty rag. Generous large cod sadly spoiled as kept probing it with temp probe and putting it back in oil so oil got inside batter and ruined fish with the result that most of it inedible. Looked and tasted like it had been cooked in diesel. Binned batter ate little bit of fish that was edible and threw the rest and the chips in the bin I don't like wasting food at all but it really was that bad.

Not happy at all. Took over 40 minutes to get my order and there was only two people in front.First time I went here and in all 20 plus years of chip shops. I have never ever waited that long especially when only two people in front. The owner was only doing one order at a time.Never going back.

Really nice fresh food but a bit of a wait sometimes

Son went this evening to get a mega burger, cone of chips and battered sausage. Took 30mins from paying to get food :-( burgers were overcooked and dry, bacon was also overcooked and nearly broke my teeth as it was so hard! Salad consisted of lettuce and cucumber. No tomato, onion or coleslaw (like there used to be) cheese only on one of the burgers.........Shop wasn't busy so not sure why it took so long and would have expected better considering the amount of time it took.

Ordered a couple of times...best chip shop by far...beats any in the area....but can't seem to order anymore...appears closed all the time.....hurry up and open again....

Awful, soggy fish and undercooked chips, ok if you've just come out of squid game but otherwise avoid

Bad experience, the fish was tasteless and greasy. This place really has gone downhill under the new management IMO.

nice fish and chips, especially fresh fish with skin on makes it more tasty, I can also tell that the quality potatoes are used for making the chips. highly recommended.
