Malvern Tavern in Southampton

Pub looks nice and clean but then go into the toilets and there's no toilet roll and hand dispenser kept falling open. The flusher came out when I went to flush (but luckily it still flushed) quite short staffed even for a Thursday evening. I do like they have on tap cocktails however at 2 for £8.50 I would prefer to get more then just 4 sips. Literally no exaggeration. A few of the regulars even commented on my glasses of foam

Really nice atmosphere in this pub, the staff are lovely and very approachable. The regulars are friendly and it's a nice family place. It's spacious & clean & has a happy upbeat vibe to it.

A very lovely pub not too noisy. The pub has a great menu with lots of choice and deals. The service was great, very well looked after. Definitely come back again!

Warm welcome. Most of the food was tasty. However both our steaks was undercooked and full of gristle in the middle.

Welcoming and kind. Kennedy (sorry if spelt wrong) is a delight. Didn't have time to try the food but if it's as good as the lovely people getting the bar, I'm sure it's fabulous.

Good local pub. Lively early on Friday evening, great atmosphere, loads of space. Gammon & chips excellent. Outdoor space at front.

Yesterday afternoon my Sister and I ordered the Sunday Roast. Our food looked beautifully presented and the blonde waitress was lovely but the food was so bad that I stopped eating after 2 mouthfuls and I couldn't stand to eat another bite. My sister pushed her full plate away after a few tasters. I have the most terrible diarrhoea since I woke up this morning and it hasn't eased off. My Sister said she is nauseous and her stomach is churning and she feels sick. When I bit into my roast beef, a bitter sour taste poured down my throat. I think the beef was off. Please be more careful of the food you are selling. We left and refused our desserts which we had already paid for. My Sister complained to the Manager and he barely battered and eyelid. I will never eat here again.
