Sidewalk South in Southampton

Looking rather unassuming and not displaying a menu on the outside, we were pleasingly surprised about the big selection of food and modern and warm decor on the inside. English breakfast, sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes, paninis to name just a few. The paninis we chose were tasty and came with a little fresh salad dressing. The coffee was very strong and what we needed on this cool day. The service was very friendly and quick. Would we come again? Of course!

Amazing food persian food, very welcoming place. I definitely recommend Sidewalk Cafe if you are in Southampton city centre and want to chill out and have a good quality food.

Excellent halal breakfast option for around £10 (slightly pricy tbh). This includes sausages, chips, hash browns, beans, eggs, tomato, mushrooms and a cup of tea/coffee.Large portions, quick service and friendly owner.

I ordered the "chef special" burger, which was £12. It was the most expensive burger on their menu. The burger tasted fine, but there wasn't anything "special" about it. It just seemed very ordinary. The burger had the patty and some mushrooms, and that's it! No cheese, no relishes, no sauces ...nothing. So it left me feeling very underwhelmed. Maybe the should rename that burger to "regular burger". The staff was very polite and courteous though.

I go there with my daughter, granddaughters and great granddaughter on my day of work the service is second to none the food is always hot service great we call it our girls brunch they are brilliant nothing is to much trouble for they and they are very obliging we never go anywhere else

It's perfect, unique, friendly, tasty cuisine and what you need to eat and enjoy of Persian food and so on. I highly recommend it.👍Actually, I missed Koubideh Kebab right now😩😋

We were positively surprised by this restaurant. At the first it looks as a mixture of English breakfast and Persian food which is a uncommon but it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended. The waiter is also very nice.

Best breakfast in town for sure. Latte is how it should be done properly, with smooth creamy foam. Breakfast includes coffee, tea or juice included in the price which is rare. A good choice of breakfast options for all tastes. Portions are huge!!! And the price is amazing. I love their food and I am always happy to come back.

Absolutely love this place! Very clean, staff is extremely attentive and the food is always fresh. Not everything is halal, so make you ask before ordering.

Had lunch to try Iranian cuisine and got very impressed😳with the quality of the meat.This place looks like a normal cafe but the food is so good. Compliments to the staff and owner for creating such a nice place to have breakfast and lunch.The menu has three main parts, Breakfasts(eggs, bacon, sausages, beans...) another with common things like burguers... and one with Iranian food.Definitely I will come back.
