I have been a regular for years and actually travel 4 miles for the food but ever since they employed some young girl to do the phone my order is always wrong! Unbelievable

Placed an order for 10pm, got delivered at 8 called and asked why that was they said it was a new system, also said that they could come and pick the food up and re deliver it at 10pm, customer service wasn't any help. Ordered at 10 for the fact I wasn't home till then.

I have been using south ocean for many years with no problem but i went in tonite for a takeaway and i was really disaponited with the attitude of the girl ; she was on the phone -she looked up at me and totally ignored me / 5 minutes later still on the phone still no aknowlegement of me being there / i didnt see her writing anything down if she was taken an order / she still ignored me / another man came in and got the same reaction / he waited for a few minutes and asked me how long i had been waiting by this time it was comming up to 10 minutes and she was still on the phone / he decided to leave and i said i would join him and walked out / there was no reaction from her at all !!

Ordered in store and receive my food at an average of 10mins. Very quick considering we order food for 3-4 people. However the order can occasionally be even faster. Delicious food cooked perfectly. One of the best Chinese takeaway in this area without a doubt.

The man can be very rude when ordering and more than once they have forgot something on my order. Chips have come cold many times but portion size is good. Chow mien can come really sticky where it has been over cooked.

This place is awful. They take ages to deliver, you phone to chase your order and the staff are rude and hang up on you. Good arrives the chicken is tough and far too chewy and the "chicken" rolls have duck in them. Furthermore they quoted one price on the phone then charged something different when the arrived. This isn't the first problem I've had with them. Won't go back. Awful service and awful food.

Always polite and friendly. I love ordering from them and they are my trusted Chinese take away. Have been for years. Prices basically stay the same. Food just gets better and better when you don't think it's possible. Even got a Christmas card from them once and a calender. Just a really nice place.
