Sulas Greek Taverna in Southampton

A bit disappointing. How can you run out of one of your main meats (lamb) at 7pm on a Friday evening when you have hardly had any customers in? OK meal saved by the puds at the end, which were good.

I am happy all the time to eat here. It is a great corner from Greece brought in England with their delicious food. It makes me to miss and remember about Greece more.I remember since I lived in Greece, there are nice bakery products there and maybe I will see some like dessert in the menu. Just a thought. xx

The Sulas Special chicken gyros has just the right amount of meat and sauces. We had a large order that was prepared quickly and the staff is very friendly. - Anesti04

Good value, nice food, friendly service, Greek salad was a little expensive for the size. Could have some more vegetarian options.

Probably the best pork and chicken gyros I've eaten. Very generous with meat portions in their gyros than other greek places I've been to and lathered in awesome Greek sauce and herbs to pack alot of flavour. Nice little joint.

If I could I would give 7 starts! A true authentic Greek restaurant with awesome flavours and relatively large portions. My personal favorite is the mixed pita and for 5£ it is an absolute bargain. Extra tzaziki is always a must because I can't get enough of it!! Sula sauce is very tasty too as well as the Greek salad! Thank you guys for being here and cooking the food I was only able to get when I traveled to Greece 🇬🇷 It is always a pleasure to see those lovely smiles in the restaurant!

Sulas is located in a great place where a lot of students live, on Portwood High Street.This has to be my 4th or 5th time eating at Sula's. To start the food hygiene rating is 5 out of 5 which is very good and this as well as a tripadvisor excellence badge is also visible on the front windows displayed on their front window. You can see on tripadvisor it in the top 10 in southampton for restaurants. Also the food is always tastes and looks great and it feels just like your in Greece... apart from the fantastic (not) english weather outside! The menu is very straight forward and they do a variety of different dishes and they all taste great. The picture is of my Pork Gyros which I had a couple of days ago. It tasted great, filled to the brim with seasoned fries, onion, tzatziki, sula's signature sauce, (tomato is normally there, however I am not a big fan of tomato) and of course the shredded pork which just melts in your mouth. The price is extremely reasonable and they do wrapped (picture) or plated gyros which is a slightly larger portion. Sula's have couple of meal deals in which more than two people could share if your keeping costs low. Takeaway's are available, either walk in or give them a call. Great food, great price and would recommend.
