Our first takeaway from this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious..Will definitely order again 😀😀

The food wasn’t brilliant, the naan bread and pompadon were over cooked and burnt. The pilau rice was colourless and a little insipid, while my review is rather negative we will try again to see if this was a one off poor quality.

We've had takeaway from and eaten at Tandoori on several occasions. The food is always excellent and very tasty. We particularly love how easy it is to order low oil and vegan options. The staff are always really welcoming and polite and the price is very reasonable. Would certainly reccomend!

I'd actually passed this restaurant and takeaway many times before and never really given it a second thought. Then recently, I saw they had their windows smashed after England's loss in the Euro final and thought I'd order from Tandoori, as a way of helping support them.Oh my god. The food is delicious and I don't know why I'd never tried it before. Definitely the best Indian I've had in Southampton. I now only order from Tandoori. If you're looking to try somewhere new, I highly recommend!

After me and my travel companion went to this restaurant we were bursting to write a review. Not only is this curry house the only one I have ever been to that has an actual set list of vegan curry, but the curry’s were absolutely delicious. They were very aware we were vegan and made sure to offer everything they could to us vegan. The restaurant was lovely, but overall it was the service that blew us away. The staff at this restaurant, particularly the owner, gave us hands down the most warm and welcoming experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The owner chatted to us about our travels and was clearly just so happy for us to be there, a man that really loved his restaurant and customers. When we got up to leave, after a well deserved generous tip, he jolted up to open the door for us, he was just so eager to serve. Honestly a whole new experience, the food was amazing and the owner just went above and beyond.

Easily a 5 out of 5. One of the first Indian places I’ve been that has a separate list of the vegan curries available, and boy were they absolutely delicious. It’s quite small and tucked away just beyond the Itchen Bridge, incredible food (as I’ve already mentioned but am happy to keep reiterating, because honestly the curries were amazing) and on top of that I don’t think I’ve ever met lovelier restaurant staff. He was so passionate for his restaurant, made sure we were enjoying our food, and jumped to immediately get the door and hold it open for us when we were leaving. Thank you so much for the great food and memories that you’ve given us!
