The Fish Station in Southampton

We have been visiting this chippy almost weekly for the last few months. Im not the biggest fast food fan, but the taste is so good, the price is reasonable and the staff are just lovely! Highly recommended!!

Lamb doner meat was tasteless. Portion was generous . The pitta was stale and very tough. Chips were great. Friendly guy but needs to improve food quality to compete with local eateries. Very hot inside with no air conditioning.

I love reviewing chippies. Unfortunately this one is a dodgy one. After trying to find a pub that would be open for a fish in chips outside, came up to this nonsense. Staff can not remember a simple order, looks like they are struggling to take order for more then one item. Only taking cash. Not giving receipts. I understand, they want to put cash in the pocket, no tax, no owner to know. Did not feel like they are nice to their customers, after a few minutes watching. Customer service is on very low level, fish and chips not the worst, just below average quality. Overpriced for the place and location for sure. Their rating here is too high, this does not reflect real situation.

Nice small fish and kabab store. I alway eat there and the food is tasty with big portions. Recommend from my end.

Huge fish! Chips were fresh and amazing. Staff were so lovely. For a fast food restaurant it welcoming. No rush and really enjoyed the food.This was by far the biggest fish I have ever had from a chip shop. Highly recommend.

Best halal fish and chips in Southampton , great value for money with really hospitable staff . It’s our second time here within a week , will miss this when we head back to Singapore.
