Nice pub but we didn't enjoy the restaurant experience. We were told on arrival that our table would be needed for another booking in under an hour and a half. This wasn't mentioned at the time of booking or we wouldn't have made the booking. We ordered olives and bread as a pre starter but they brought our starters a couple of minutes after bringing the bread and olives. They then tried to bring us our main meals about 10 minutes after that while we were still eating our starter but we sent them back. We explained that we were feeling rushed to the manager and they then backed off for the rest of the meal. I guess they found somewhere else to sit the people they'd promised our table to. The food was nice but the initial service ruined it a bit.

Closed down and now a shabby chain. Loved the goat when it was the goat!

From reviews I expected welcoming service whereas staff were unwelcoming and impolite which had impact my own dining experience. The young girls spoke unpleasantly with rude insolent and unmannerly tone and took my glass without asking if thats okay, there was still drink in the glass which I payed for and intended to drink. The girls didnt have their hair tied up which was going all over the bar counter. I've never been treated so badly by waitresses and unattended. The food was absolutely delicious one of the best burgers which I ate. Food was worth the money. Despite this amazing treats I will never recommend or come back because of the service. Absolutely appalled.

Great food and atmosphere, but it would benefit from longer opening hours. Last food orders at 7:30pm

Food ok and would have been a good experience if we had not had to share with a family outing which had obviously gone over a suitable dining time. The children were very fractious which was not their fault and were very loud with lots of screaming. The waiter advised that they had commenced at 17:30 and had agreed to vacate around seven. Unfortunately for us this was closer to nine and no-one did anything about the noise, the mess, the pushchair jammed against our table or the fact that they had said they would leave much earlier. It was not a blissful experience and it might be better if adults could enjoy a peaceful meal in the evening!!! Will not be revisiting until they decide who they are catering for.

We had a Social You business meeting here at lunch. The staff were really attentive, the atmosphere comfortable and easy to hear each other and the grub was lovely too. They have wi-fi that is easy to connect too and it quick and there is space to spread out if you have a bit of paperwork. Lovely venue for food, coffee or a meeting. Will certainly go again.

Beautiful food, atmosphere and decor. Especially the blinds! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.. even if you're not!
