The best all-day breakfast that I've had in Southampton, bar none, with well cooked quality products. I even enjoyed the black pudding! Nice ambience inside, some seating outside. Great range of hot drinks. Reasonable prices Friendly & helpful staff. Disabled access.

Lovely as ever. GREAT staff, a Chilled atmosphere and tasty Breakfast and Coffee. This is our 4th visit. We always leave Happy and full. Thanks retro rooms

Was here on Sunday morning with a group of my friends and we all had the monster full English breakfast. I am not exaggerating...... this is the best breakfast I have ever had! Everything was cooked incredibly well and the presentation was lovely as well! Could not recommend this place highly enough to anyone that wants an INSANE BREAKFAST!!

I feel bad for giving just two stars to this hospitality venue as the staff were friendly, the service was excellent and the food was great.I’ve rated Retro Cafe two stars due to the cleanliness of the place. I visited with a friend for lunch on Tuesday last week and after ordering our food and looking around the cafe I found the floor and doors to the kitchen and toilet were filthy. Upon visiting the toilet I found that whilst the toilet and sink were clean the rest of the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for days.Due to my aforementioned findings I will not be visiting this cafe again because if the FOH is that dirty I’m not comfortable trusting the BOH.

Cute little cafe in Bedford place. Great atmosphere and delicious hot chocolate - good alternative to the big chain cafes.
