Came for the unlimited breakfast and was not disappointed. Very impressed with the service, food was amazing! Buffet breakfasts don't usually appeal to me but everything tasted fresh was cooked well and regularly replenished. Great value for money and will definitely be returning 😁

The food was brilliant, especially the beef dripping roast potatoes 🤤. The staff were really friendly and helped us save a bit of money. We went for a late lunch/early breakfast and I fully expected everything to be dry having been under a heat lamp all day, however everything was lovely and moist.

I visited with a friend and his uncle on a Saturday afternoon. This vegetarian opted for a meatless carvery.I was surprised to see that there were no labels on the two types of roast potatoes, etc and the vegetable selection left a lot to be desired. Also, I need to make a special mention for the Karen who decided to have a moan at me for "getting too close" to her at the carvery. If that's your concern then perhaps, don't leave your house, Love.Despite this, staff were friendly and welcoming.

Was surprised I was able to book a table on a Sunday at 5pm at short notice. Arrived to find a pretty empty car park, maybe due to the new parking charges. However, I can now understand why as sadly our experience was awful. Once seated we waited ages for our drinks order to be taken, then a further long wait for our food order to be taken. Unfortunately the gravy was burnt and so it ruined the carvery, this was taken off the bill. Finally another long wait for pudding orders to be taken. Only managed one round of drinks…. As no one was around to take a second order. Such a shame as I remember it being such a nice place to eat.

First time there for a long time, due to Covid. Restaurant was very busy (Sunday lunch) but the waitress was smiling and helpful. Lovely tender meat, with a good selection of vegetables and delicious dessert. Will be going back. Recommend booking first.

We came for a lunch time carvery and the food was amazing. The waitress (JAYNE) went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely experience

Honestly really surprised by just how good the carvery was! Had the steak and ale pie which was full of big chunks of steak in a rich gravy. Veg was fresh and the parsnips were amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a roast.

The venue was lovely. My friend and I had hoped to eat outside, for covid reasons, despite it being a cold December day. We were kindly offered an indoor dining area that was partitioned off with glass doors which we thought was a great idea and we were the only ones in that area.Staff also informed us that it would become busy so we were forewarned and left before the lunchtime rush. The food and service were great. Parking is free if you're using the pub but remember to pop your reg number in their machine.
