The Yacht Tavern in Southampton

Attended what was supposed to be a music festival. Arrived early to get good seats, no problem with that, only the locals were there. Almost 2 hours later, still no bands or food. We left to meet up with friends at another venue. To try and give the festival another go, we returned, only to find a few more people, waited for a band to come on. What a waste of time, we heard a few wrist-slitting songs and left. I hope the charity in support of the festival received at least some money.

Very well situated and a relaxed feel to this small pub. Reasonable prices and a polite bar staff make this a great place to have a quite pint and maybe a light lunch.

Good pub food and value for money. Gets a bit noisy at times.

Our Centre go to this pub with our clients with Autism and learning disabilities. They are so friendly, interact with our clients and make them feel really comfortable and have alot of time for them.All the staff are very kind and full of joy. Thankyou to you all. x

What a great night out!!I visited for the first time with some friends to watch the band on a Saturday night, and had an amazing time. The weather was a bit rubbish but there was a huge overhead tarp for the audience, and the band. The pub owners and staff were super interactive with their customers, glasses were collected throughout the night and everyone had a great time.Thank you for a wonderful night!!

This is a really lovely place. Everyone gets along and the staff are very friendly. The food is also very good. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and the potatoes are also very nice. I did work experience here for a week and the bosses are great. There are always events happening whether it is live music, darts, etc.I'd highly recommend this pub for anyone who is looking for an enjoyable night out or looking for somewhere to go for lunch!! :)

Nice little place, staff are really friendly and had a nice chat about upcoming music nights, great drinks selection and good prices. Really big outdoor seating area, looking forward to eating there one evening food looks nice, basic pub grub at a very good price. Can't wait to see some live music again
