Tasty food, good atmosphere, polite & fast service, lovely & clean, appreciative staff where nothing asked for was any trouble!

It is a beautiful place, good food, everything was amazing. I recommend this place!

Went here for lunch and enjoyed the food. It was nice and hot, tasty and reasonably good value for money. The only small niggle was that it did not feel that clean, our table was covered in sticky drink residue. This wouldn't put me off going again but in the current climate I wouldn't have expected this.

Bloody lovely breakfast would highly recommend it and staff were very good.

Always a good time. Food is always good quality and decent price. Have to ask for coffee extra hot. They have been a little short staffed recently but it is always a relaxed time anyway. Well worth a visit.

Atmospheric venue. Veggie breakfast was great. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff, conscientious of allergies and dietary needs. Busy for a Sunday morning but venue is large so not crowded, which is a testament to the quality of the Lounge.

I was a regular Lounger in the Shirley branch, and I have to admit that the Portswood Lounge is even better. The place is way bigger and the atmosphere is always relaxed, they are dog friendly which is a great bonus, the prices are good and the food is absolutely excellent.The service is also very friendly and the experience of ordering through the website/app is seamless.

I've been coming here more and more often, as their vegan menu is absolutely huge and all so tasty as well. The quiz nights on Monday are fun too and the staff all seem very friendly. Very cute garden out back.

Exceptional place. So far one of the best breakfast ever in England. Amazing staff. Rarely felt so taken care of. Very good value for money. High quality ingredients sum up to a great breakfast.

A really nice place to go for lunch - especially if you have veggies or vegans in your party! Really good menu with plenty of options to chose from. Really busy when we arrived at lunch time, we're told food would be an hour but we didn't have to wait that long which was nice. Staff were really friendly and helpful when it came to needing a change to one of the dishes. You can order at the bar, or use the app to place your order.I took 1 star off for two reasons - I had a chicken burger which had barely any chicken in (I mean the smallest amount) which was a little annoying, but it was still super tasty! Secondly, none of the staff were wearing masks (July 31st 2021). I know masks aren't required by law, but when staff are getting close to you at the door and talking to you, and serving food at your table, and not wearing masks, I don't feel as safe.
