We had lunch in this pub while visiting Hamble and found it very hospitable and friendly. The food was good and the service excellent. Our dog was also given a warm welcome with water and biscuits. We were mesmerised by the giant log fire and enjoyed our experience at Ye Olde Whyte Harte thanks Charlie for making us feel so welcome.

Had a meal in the white harte. Great service and delicious mulled wine. However, ordered the fish pie not realising this was gluten free, it was also dairy free. Please change menu to highlight what dishes are gluten free. I felt the dishwas very overpriced at £18.

Always enjoy the food, great service and atmosphere. The steak tonight was the best I've had anywhere in a long time. I would say " well done " but mine was medium rare to perfection ! Many thanks to all !

Nice older location with a warm, inviting interior. The staff were friendly and were good at chatting. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly.Didn't have time to partake in a full meal but I did enjoy my Whitebait which also was the first time I've tried the dish. It was quite tasty and I definitely would eat it again.Nice location and it was an easy walk. I'd recommend a visit to this pub!

Friendly and cozy atmosphere makes the Whyte Harte staff a great classic pub. Worth checking out garden and potting shed which have been transformed for summer. For food, delicious roasts on Sunday and quick supper of fajitas earlier in the week.

With an open fire burning brightly, 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon with a pint of well kept HSB in hand, this was the place to be on a cold crisp day. Many locals gathered in this cosy, dark pub chatting away. We met a little Jack Russell and his owner so this pub is dog friendly. Worth visiting.
