Yummy Thai Noodle Bar in Southampton

Not sure what all the rave reviews on here was about but I was expecting top quality tasting food which was ruined by the overpowering use of salt and msg. I realise this is student zone but it really did not need to be that salty - tried eating it but left after a while

I had a thai red pinapple curry with egg fried rice and it was absolutely exquisite, surprised how quiet it was given the supreme quality. Curry was creamy and satisfying with a slight spice.

Best Thai food I've found in Southampton. Always delicious!

I brought this food through uber eats, was on time and hot. The food was flavourful and delicious. I will be ordering again from here. Thankyou. 🙂

Terrible. Crazy spicy. Spent £47 where half of my order went to the bin. Left me hungry and angry with burned insides and indigestion. I'm not a butterfly and I love and do eat spicy Thai food. This one is not enough words to describe. Even my husband couldn't eat medium spicy Papaya salad. Tom ka soup wasn't rated as spicy at all but it was spicy enough to take all the taste away. Salt and pepper squid was rated as a little spicy where thiny little rings was plain as a shoe's sole not even salt you can taste.

Having lived most of the past 20 years in Thailand I yearned for some authentic tasting Thai food. Now I've found somewhere! Excellent taste and quite happy to prepare spicy or not spicy. Also very well priced compared to most Thai places here.We ordered from their lunchtime specials (to take home only) and had Pad Ka Pow. Freshly cooked while we waited and still piping hot when we got home. The taste was 100% authentic - take that from someone who must have eaten this dish hundreds of times in Thailand.Definitely my 'go to' place when I next have the yearning (probably not more than a few days!).

Great food! Very tasty and nice to have a take away! The only thing I would say is the Penang curry was not dry, it was the same consistency as the green curry. Neither curry had bamboo shoots and both had the same vegetables (not true to the description online). If they had said seasonal vegetables in the description i would have been more understanding. However there was a good amount of vegetables. The pad Thai was amazing, my favourite dish and a throw back to eating in Thailand. We had the salt and pepper squid also, although abit expensive for the amount you get. The portions for the currys and the pad thai were very good. The prawns in the curry were a good size and tasted nice too. Will be returning in person again soon I hope 🙏

Tried Yummy Thai Noodle for first time today, food was so delicious, really well presented for take away and the guy who delivered ti my house was absolutely amazing!! So nice and friendly!! Definitely will do it again!! Aida 😊

Yummy Thai is an amazing restaurant! The food was completely authentic and the price was extremely good value for money. It was like eating proper home cooked Thai food again! This is probably the best restaurant in the whole of the Southampton area. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. My wife is Filipino and is really fussy when it comes to eating Oriental food. She was also really impressed too and so that's the proof of the pudding for me! After leaving the owner chased after me down the street. I wondered what I'd done? "Excuse me sir", he said, "you've forgotten your wallet!". How many people are that honest these days? Thank you so much. We'll be back again very soon...
