Golden Pearl in Spelthorne

This place has a health and hygiene rating of '0' a big fat ZERO I didn't even know it was possible to get lower than a 1 star rating... Basically a zero means possible cross contamination of raw/cooked meat = a nasty dose of food Poisoning ... Plus possible insect and rodent infestation..... DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

This was the worse take away meal I have ever ordered. It was so bad that I threw it in the bin. I sincerely would advise you to avoid this place. It was also very over priced

Decent Chinese takeaway, been there for years, the food is pretty good too convenient for delivery and pick up. Average prices for the type of food too. Nice guy working there who you can chat with while you wait which is very rare for Chinese takeaway

My family have ordered from here since i was a child I'm 32 & i to order from here but not anymore. Over the last few resent years the food has gotten worse & I've never completed but today was the last staw. The food is really greasy & oily & is more so burnt most of the time. The food is to quick which tbh & because it's burnt & greasy makes me wonder is it from the night before but just reheated or fried. I made my order & wanted one of the dishes ×2 in which I said this also but only received one. I called them & told them about their mistake only for them to tell me. "You didn't order two you only ordered & paid for one" but i didn't though I only paid for one cos i said ×2. (Cut to it) in other words she must be saying I'm lying cos she wouldn't have it that I ordered ×2 (even though my partner was sat in the same room & heared me say it) she said she'll send out another straight away but i had to pay full price for it. I didn't get a sorry or even some money off for the mistake & inconvenience. We said we won't be ordering from there ever again now but they did not care. Obviously in my opinion they can't value there customers (especially ones that have ordered from there since it was established) I've never complaind even when there has been other times I should & now the first time i do this is the response I get. The most tasteless chinese takeaway I have ever had. Food was oily and greasy. Chow mein dishes had no flavour. Chicken balls were burnt. I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone. I would rather go hungry!

Would not recommend. Phoenix House is the best place in Stanwell for Chinese. Service is much better and the meals are better value.

As local residents, we were excited to try this chinese takeaway. Tried it a couple of times. First time we ordered two portions of soup wonton - one portion (pot) tasted good, the other tasted off like expired good which we ended up throwing the whole pot in the bin. Second time, we ordered three very different dishes but they all soaked in the same sauce. Pretty sure Singapore fried noodles doesn't normally comes in a sauce! When I confirmed the order with them and asked them about the sauce, they said there's nothing wrong. Very disappointed. Would not order from them again.
