Gourmet Burger Kitchen - Staines in Spelthorne

We waited for 1 hour for our orders until the time we realised that the 2 tables where people arrived after us received their order first. We talked with the attendant and he said that unfortunately they had not ordered ours. Mistakes happen, but the issue is that anyone asked us if were everything ok or checked out order.

Mighty Burger, ordered in medium rare and it came in medium rare. 👍🏻😋Although the ordering web page didn’t work, all staffs are helpful, polite and always come with smiles. ☺️

Sunday dinner with the family. Came here after a long day really hungry. Place was quiet, 4-5 tables with people,4 waiters on the floor,ordered food for everyone and the burger was very tasty and a fair portion for the price. However i never got to experience how's the fries as mine never arrived. We let another waiter know that one of our fries are missing,he apologised and left,my fries never arrived. Another waiter was eating fries he just grabbed from the kitchen from his hand on the restaurant floor. After we finished our food we waited like 20 minutes for the fries I've ordered twice to show up,but never happened.Then asked for the bill. Food was good but they need to sort out the order system. At least those fries haven't popped up on our bill,next time definitely ordering through the digital system as the waiters seems to be unreliable even at a quiet time even though they were really friendly and polite. Food was great,only gave 3 stars as they didn't deliver my order even after asking for it for a second time.

My wife and I went here for a lunch on a day out. The staff were all friendly and professional, with the option of table service or ordering via their app (webpage). The restaurant wasn't too busy, and we were served our drinks very quickly, with food coming about 10 minutes later. The burgers were filling, which explained why chips were an optional side, and definitely delivered on taste. The mighty, which I had, contained all I'd want from a burger. Price-wise, it was less than I expected from the name, and in-line with London prices. Overall, a very satisfying visit which I hope to repeat in the future.

Visited during a Thursday lunchtime, the place looked quieter than it should be, but I was greeted with a friendly member of staff and I got to choose where I could be seated.I was given several options to order, I went with the QR code on the table for convenience sake. But I’m glad the option of table service is there also.Food was AMAZING! Good tasting, juicy burger with the meat cooked to perfection, I believe it was worth the price in all honesty. Also, the portion of Sweet Potato Fries was more than I expected, which is a good thing in my books :)Would come again without a doubt. Gourmet Burger Kitchen fulfilled my burger craving for that day, and the staff made sure I was having a good time.

Really tasty burgers and skinny fries. Problem with the app so we just ordered at the counter. Meal deals available, but strangely not on the printed menu - have to view the online menu or notice on the wall of the restaurant. My daughter "went naked" exchanging her bun for coleslaw and salad and seemed to get a massive plateful. May consider that myself next time. Free carafes of tap water are also available, but sadly the free monkey nuts available pre-covid have gone!

My partner and I stopped in for a lunch time burger on a Sunday. I was a little concerned at how empty the restaurant was, but it suited us because we wanted to avoid anywhere too noisy. We were given a table close to the window, and we noticed that all the guests were placed near the window too. I'm sure this was intended to create the illustration of popularly!We were told that there was no standard table service, so we had to order and pay at the bar, and our order would be brought to the table. The food was the usual good standard we have come to enjoy at GBK. It was perhaps a little slow, given how few tables were occupied, but everything was exactly as we ordered, hot and very tasty!It had been some time since we went into a GBK -mostly because of the pandemic- but our experience on this occasion left us feeling quite underwhelmed! Also I must add that the price for two burgers with fries and one soft drink each was pretty steep at £32.60. I do hope that GBK re-thinks their business model, or perhaps they too might disappear from the high street.

I ordered a cheese burger for my mate and forgot to add no cheese as he is allergic!!When we found about my mistake, chef replaced another burger without any concerns. Much appreciated !!Awesome service and great staff. Love it and will keep going for more Vegan burgers 😋

Long time we didn’t have a GBK! 🍔 very clean place and friendly staff. They have the App for order or taking table order. We had two burgers and chips 🍟 and the staff gave us information about one burger 2 and chips 2 for £20 deal. My husband had a chicken burger bit of spicy 🌶, I had a beef burger called Loaded. With lemonade and vanilla shake. Very good tasty and fresh beef and chicken fried😍😬 and the car parking free after 6:00PM 😬 we spent around £28. We will comeback again!!! Really enjoyed!!

I enjoy their variety of burgers 🍔 sweet potato 🍠 chips and often get really good deals. Ambiance is good too. Staff is polite. Their app isn’t very efficient which is what we had to use for placing an order hence taking one star away.
