Gurka Oven in Spelthorne

Excellent. Ordered a selection of take away vegetarian curry and naan. So far we were really impressed! One of the best in this area and will definitely order again.

Chargrill Jingha is only four prawns in there shells with no sauce and chargrilled. They are just alright but I recommend you do not spend £14.50 to even try. Don’t buy.

Ordered a take away from here a while ago. The service and delivery time is very good. All dishes and fresh and taste great. Do ask them to make it spicy if you like spice though as they won’t make it spicy for all. Overall very good.👍🏼

We met with friends yesterday evening. Since we had not seen them in ages we wanted to spend a long evening-which we did ! We ordered Momo starters (advised that they take extra cooking time). We loved them, along with 2 prawn starters, both excellent. Our meals were lovely, also. Our servers were Hasta and Ambika. They came back to check if all was well, and even though we probably kept them a long time (last to leave) they were ready to take good care of us. Almost forgot: One of us had the rice pudding for dessert. He loved it ! Very pretty presentation, also. Thank you to our servers. We've been before, and never disappointed.

Nice restaurant in Weybridge, with authentic Nepalese cuisine. The staff is very kind, and the atmosphere is quite warm. Went for a Nepalese green curry with mushroom rice

True tasty and reach flavour food, very fresh, friendly staff. Also amazing wine. What else would you need?

Had a takeaway from here one night just at closing time. More than happy to accomodate and the food was brilliant. Definitely recommend the lamb shank dish where the shank falls off the bone. Enjoy!

Strategicly positioned in Weybrigde The Great Gurkhas does not offer any parking facilities. However you can easily find some street parking nearby.The overall atmosphere is nice and the waiting staff are very polite and are happy to make you feel good.The starters I would advise to have the Momo and/or the Qutar Jinngha. The seasonning is done to perfection and they are both great starter. The Jumbo prawns are generous and they taste really good.Be aware that spicy means spicy there. It is not half job and it is true to the traditional dishes. The Rubiyan Duck was sadly overcooked and the tamarin sauce was almost non-existante. The Gurkha Mix special Dal was good but the raw garlic has over powered everything else within the plate. This restaurant offers an overall excellent value for money and a great selection of traditional Nepalese dishes. But remember hot means hot

Food was simply amazing. I've had Nepalese cuisine before but this was so much better, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and very generous portions. Highly recommended.

I am a fan of south asian kitchen. This small restaurant was far over my expectation. Four of us celebrated a birthday here and we all enjoyed very much their very special dishes.
