Salt & Vinegar in Spelthorne

It's an alright place, but it's a bit on the expensive side when it comes to fish and chips.The haddock is good but the cod was bland and watery, also I never got chips with it and had to return back to the shop and pick them up.For that price it's shocking you don't get chips with it, what was I supposed to do with a lump of fish with no chips?

Ordered first time on Uber eats ... instead of cod & chips Recieved only chips ! Cod was missing ! Called them to rectify, doesn’t want to help! Just offered the refund for the cod . Not a good customer service! Won’t be ordering it again !

Been ordering weekly never been disappointed always fresh good portion size and lovely staff don't go anywhere else this is the best including the desserts

Avoid at all costs! Food is absolutely vile!! Was 2 hours late on a Wednesday. Called restaurant 9 times no awnser. Food arrived cold and tasteless. £30 of disappointment. Had to add salt and ketchup over my fish and sausage and batter and savoly to try and give it some sort it taste. Chips where hard as anything! So many better fish and chip shops around avoid this one if you can!!!

The best fish and chips in town. Milkshakes r amaaaaazing....quarter pounder is a must try. The wings r done just right and were delicious. Cheesy garlic bread was the best i ever had. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Wud definitely be back soon

Totally recommend this local family run fish and chip shop. Excellent fresh fish always perfectly cooked and always perfect chips. Friendly service and they do delivery. Definitely try this plaice.

Just ordered on Uber eats and the Cod & Chips were spot on, fresh hot and crispy. Tried to review in my uber app and my network went off, did not want to leave without doing a review.

I have to totally recommend this fish and chip shop. we are regular in the area waiting for flights to land and this is the best fish and chip shop for miles. friendly service and great quality.

My partner just picked up a fish n chips for our children and they near chocked on 4 thin bits of plastic in it. The chips were awful too.My partner just took it back and they were happy to change it but it this experience put us off. The guy did give us our money back which is only polite.
