The Flower Pot in Spelthorne

I was very surprised to see that when a ‘regular’ as the manager told me, shouted at me and tried to provoke me to fight inviting me outside. The management when addressed told me ‘go to your room’ Unacceptable in any scenario!Further they had a bad attitude towards me and I decided to cancel the booking. Doing so while serving a beverage at the bar the staff took the liberty to pack my luggage ( without my consent) and presented it to me at the bar asking me to ‘leave now’They should, in my opinion take a brake from this business and do something else.Bad experience

Very nice hotel and the breakfast is amazing. It's free to park behind the hotel (or in front, if you're lucky). The rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful.

Called in for a quick drink, found it really comfortable and the manager whom I believe was quite new was really friendly and accommodating, especially as I couldn't drink that quickly before closing she gave me a container to pour my drink into so that I didn't have to leave and waste it. Was really impressed by that jesture and will certainly visit again in the future.

Great rooms with very comfortable beds. Only eat breakfast here and it was very nice. Location was perfect only stones throw from the river.

Food was awful ( one of three different tables returning their food that evening. Was very polite in explaining this to the manger who, unfortunately, had a bit of an attitude presuming we just wanted free food. First and last trip to this restaurant.

Visited last week for dinner. Very disappointed, my first two choices were not available then the thirdchoice was unacceptable, chicken was dry, and chips were reheated. Had to send back, will not be returning. Great shame as it was a favourite place for us

The bed was super-comfy and the room reasonably well appointed; coffee maker, kettle, hair dryer, also, nice decor and very nice en suite, but no bulb in one of the bedside lights. Breakfast was really good, eggs were perfect! The location is great, right by the river. The downside was that I had a room at the front and the traffic noise began at 5.45 - take ear plugs or make sure you ask for a room at the back!

Food at dinner was lovely and my room was spectacular. The only downside was after the party I'd been attending had ended and all the guests had left, the staff obviously stayed on to clean up and the bass of the music could be heard in my room until 2.30am. My room was over the party room. However, other family guests whose room was not above the party room didnt experience this. Bed was sooo comfortable and breakfast was really lovely. Enjoyed my stay and Will definitely revisit.

Absolutely delicious food and always a lovely atmosphere. Service is always amazing and all staff very friendly. Star definitely goes to the Pie of the Day - Steak and Ale was just amazing! Lots of vegetarian options and varied menu should accommodate all members of the family! Plus you can use your Meerkat Meals Sunday to Thursday. Fantastic value.

From the moment we arrived Sam, Chloe, Emily and Martina made us feel extremely welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The Room was amazing, clean, comfortable and to have a bath in the bedroom was just perfect for us. The food was excellent having eaten both Breakfast and lunch we would deffo recommend, and the make a mean cocktail…. Thanks guys we will definitely be back soon .. Amy and David xx
