Best value pub and food, as I can tell, in Sunbury/ Shepperton.Whenever the bill is presented it is usually much cheaper than expected and I always say, 'how much?', surprised at how reasonable it is.Is it the most trendy or exciting? No, but it is no nonsense great value. Chefs, open kitchen are always very good. The chefs and staff have always been very friendly, speak to my children, give good recommendations. There is usually sports on tv, you can have a beer over a game of Rugby or Cricket, or sit in the restaurant bit and have a meal.Nice beer garden as well. All in all, a nice pub, suitable for the family, at a good price.

The food was so good here. We had the carvery and it was excellent, we also ordered a meal off the menu which turned up quickly and had great reviews. The drinks were excellent and the staff helped us when we asked for it to be made slightly differently. The goat was quiet when we visited at lunchtime so there were loads of room and you got to pick your own table and order at the bar.A few things were not available but what they did have was excellent. The parking is free if going into the goat just don't forget to put your registration number in.

What a lovely place to have a meal ! The car very staff were friendly , carvery was delicious, hot and fresh and the best bit about it is you don’t wait around for it as it’s a carvery. They also served my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and I finished the meal with a lovely cherry sponge and custard . All that for under Ā£20! Will definitely be going back again…. and again !

I went there for a Sunday roast dinner with my family. We were ushered to a dirty table and waited 20 minutes to be given our tickets to approach the serving table and another 10 minutes for our drinks. The food was okay but the service was absolutely terrible. They messed up our desert order and presented us with a bill for £165. They charged us for 8 meals and deserts even although there was only 3 of us and even when we pointed out the mistake, we still had to wait another 20 minutes for them to sort the bill. I will not ever eat there again.

Visited The Goat carvery this evening with my family and it was such a lovely experience, good food and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. It is very reasonably priced, was very clean and there was plenty of food available on the carvery. Can't wait to visit again :-)

Where most waiters / managers are welcoming, hospitable and go above and beyond to welcome you, the gentleman that ā€˜greets’ you at this restaurant seems to go above and beyond to send you back home hungry.Have you booked? There are no tables available he says!I leave and check online and surprise surprise there are tables available for booking . I book and go back in the restaurant where I’m told this must be a double booking, but I am reluctantly served:The food is good value if you can actually make it past the gentleman who has confused his role for that of a nightclub bouncer:

On arrival i was greeted by nikki and she was very friendly and showed me where to sit and how it all works. She did offer table service as i had my walking frame but i said it was ok.I was then served by another lady who was polite and she was very helpful and brought my food over to me.I will be back again to have the carvery next time!, i was also told that they also do an all you can eat breakfast for £7.79

Got roast delivered, packed well and good portion size however ordered beef which had more fat then meat, over cooked sausage and hard vegetables. Also was given mashed potato that I didn’t order and would not call mash as had huge lumps of potato in!!! Roast Potatoes and Yorkshire’s were nice. Very good gravy, thick and tasted nice! Would not order again tho!

Food was good, cant really fault it apart from some of the veggies were a bit dry. But over all very nice. Waitress Jasmine was always checking on us and taking our dirty plates and cups away. Good servicešŸ‘
