The King's Fairway in Spelthorne

This was a fantastic little spot! Very happy we found it. Great value, good food and friendly service!

Although I am a local, I made my first visit here for years when we met family for dinner. I was really disappointed and so was my husband. We'd looked at the menu before arriving but weren't prepared for just how basic the food was. My husband thought his burger was overpriced for what it was. To top it all, when we went to order our dessert, we were told that we couldn't have any because the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. We weren't made aware of this when ordering our meals. The staff seemed disinterested in the customers. Needless to say, we won't be returning as the whole experience was a letdown. This was a shame, particularly as my stepson suggested we meet there as he had heard good things about the place.

Had a really enjoyable lunch with our friends,both the food and drinks were reasonably priced. Plus we had good service,staff very pleasant.Will definitely be going again.

Friendly staff and lovely pub and atmosphere

Food was nice. Spacious and parking was ideal

The majority of the meal was fine but the pigs in blankets were not cooked all the way through. We had 3 bowls and they were all pink and raw in the middle. Really not good they weren’t checked before being sent out. Hopefully they start checking or cooking them properly or they’re going to be making a lot of people sick.

What can I say that may not already been said. When all around pubs are closing because people are cancelling bookings because of omicron these guys stayed open so a big round of applause 👏 for that alone. Not only that the staff were awesome. They were very polite and helpful and attention to detail and friendly. We had booked for Christmas Dinner and they didn't dissapoint in any way. We did have to give our choices a month in advance but was fantastic service. Most of us had a starter of some sort and all brought at same time. Considering there was 12 of us and different mains they all were piping hot. Only 4 had puddings. As for the price it was only £15 per head excluding drinks. Must admit the kitchen was closed to us and another family. The locals were very friendly to. Merry Christmas to everyone both staff and customers alike. Will have to come again.

Really friendly staff, went for my mother in laws 60th birthday. Very welcoming environment with nice fires.Disability friendly with ramp and separate disabled toilet with a key behind the bar.Food was really nice, had the large mixed grill and raspberry Eton mess for desert.Would like to thank them for allowing us to book and bring a cake and decorations. Really cannot recommend them high enough. Our servers were really friendly.

Very friendly staff. We were shown to our table, then ordered from the bar, and the food arrived in reasonable time. I ordered sea bass with chips and peas. The fish was absolutely delicious and the portion size was huge! All 3 different meals were excellent quality and all very reasonably priced. It would be 5 stars for the food and customer service. Awarded 4 stars 🌟 only because it was quiz night and it was very loud!

Today, I tried the 3 course set Sunday Lunch for 12.95. I had a prawn cocktail starter, Pork Roast and Raspberry Ripple Arctic roll desert. The food was amazing!! The service was really quick and I was surprised when my starter turned up so quick. The staff were all great and really friendly. The atmosphere in the pub is really warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend the Kings Fairway and i'm already planning my next visit!!
