The Orchard Cafe in Spelthorne

If you don't like reading amazingly positive reviews,please stop reading now. We had the good fortune to stop at the Orchard cafe this morning while waiting for a flight to arrive at Heathrow. Everything from the moment we opened the door onwards was so impressive. A wonderful welcome and when was the last time I was offered to leave the tea bag in when I said I liked strong tea? We both ordered an English breakfast which was cooked beautifully and tasted divine. The best English breakfast that I have had for a long long time. Served on spotlessly clean crockery just like the whole of the cafe. My friend used the toilet and she came back super impressed with the cleanliness and the facilities offered. All this for a a very fair price served by the most courteous staff you could wish to meet. I hope that I have made it clear that the Orchard cafe has made a wonderful impression on us today and I will go out of my way to return.

Great little cafe just outside Heathrow! Delicious breakfast (we had omletes and the special) and awesome fresh squeezed orange juice. Great being able to park and have a meal while you wait for your flight. Wonderful staff in a cafe you can tell they care for!

Lovely cafe, very convenient from the main road but nice and quiet. The blue cheese burger was excellent.

I placed an order here,first there is no instructions message in app,so i called them directly with my requests on how I would like my food prepared, which they totally ignored!,Plus it was almost one hour before I got my food!, The rider took just over five minutes from time he picked up my order, to the time he handed it to me,the food was over cooked (nearly burnt!) When I asked for my bacon Very Lightly! done, & Soft Yokes! (& got bullet eggs!, Rock hard!),All the food was barely warm!,I was Grossly Disappointed!! with my order!,I feel that I have been Ripped Off!!.After this experience i would not recommend them to Anyone!!.This used to be a great little cafe to stop at on the way to Heathrow, going back 15 years ago!.So!, So!, Disappointed!!!!!.

I had four hours before my flight and found the closest cafe to Heathrow with outdoor seating that served a full breakfast and had high marks. What a came across was a hidden gem! It had everything that I wanted. Beautiful day today allowed me to eat breakfast outside. I had eggs, bacon, sausage, fries and toast & jam. Everything was delicious! Including the freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff is warm and welcoming and prices are very reasonable. So the next time you are stuck in Heathrow and have a few hours to kill why not get a taxi over to The Orchard Cafe, sit outside and take off your mask, breath open air and enjoy a tasty breakfast.

One of the places where you can have an almost greaseless Full English Breakfast! We’ve been having breakfast here pre-pandemic. We haven’t been back since lock down but I want to share our experience here. The place is so cosy, we’ve only been when it wasn’t very busy and all our dining experiences have been great so far. They also have parking spaces right outside the café so it’s very handy.

I’ve had a few meals here, always fresh produce, cooked for me. ( not pre cooked )Very tasty. Nice & clean. Reasonably priced. Friendly helpful staff. Eat inside or out. Car parking available on site, truck parking on lay-by beside caffe.

Love this place so good to be able to sit in again. lots of choices on the menu. Always happy to help and swap something out if you don't want it.
