The Shahin in Spelthorne

Always get great food and service here. We tried the shahin magic as a starter and yes it was a totally unique experience. Absolute magic, nothing like anything ive previously experienced for indian starters and totally recommended. The chef has really created something special there. As usual every dish thereafter tasted terrific.

Have eaten in this place for over 15 years and always liked it. Ordered a takeaway for two. Tandoori mixed grill was dry and tasteless. The nam bread was wrongly ordered no mincemeat and very cardboard like. Very small container of mushroom side dish. The king prawn shashlik was good.£46 for two people not cheap. Phoned to raise my concerns and left number for manager. No one called back. Not again.

Went here for mothers day and they had the best butter chicken.Only thing to improve would be having jugs of water on the table as we had to keep asking for more glasses.

Apparently award winning, but many dishes taste the same as everywhere else. Korma, butter chicken and pasanda indistinguishable. If you're after a familiar curry it'll do.

Lovely ambiance at this restaurant. Always welcome with a smile. Food is awesome. They also offer generous NHS discounts. Worth visiting guys..

Tasteless, flavorless, the chef confused my butter chicken with the dessert. It was so sweet I had it both as a main and a dessert. Pun intended, Never ordering again. Nothing against you guys but you must learn to cook

Another absolutely fantastic meal from The Shahin tonight. We are never disappointed. Great food, always delivered hot, on time and the quality is just out of this world. Whilst we are creatures of comfort ordering the same things we always do, we know that the Shahin do a great dinner. Thank you and happy to keep supporting local business.

The Shahin has quickly become my partner and I’s favourite Indian after a couple of recent visits, both on our own and with family. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it and the staff are very attentive. More importantly the food is outstanding. All of the starters and main dishes we’ve tried have been first class; full of flavour and of immense quality. Would highly recommend the Murgh Liver starter and Mixed Grill from the Tandoori specials. Looking forward to returning again in the near future.
