Waitress was fantastic , she had alot of work to do serving 15 on her own, as for the rest it was diabolical, food was poor wasn't worth the money, had 1hr1/2 to wait then took a further hour for everyone to be served. Felt sorry for my daughter as she put alot of hard work into making nice for my 60th

Waitress was exceptional, but food was below par and overpriced, over 1 1/2 hours from first meal and last meal being served, along with half the items on the menu not available, after ordering them then being told. Toilets filthy.

The pub itself needs to bring a bit more attention to itself but the food was awesome and speaking to the staff it’s all made fresh by the chef. They asked exactly how we’d like our food and we’re very attentive. Go check them out you’ll be happily surprised.

Arrived at the pub and noticed just one barmaid serving and one person waiting at the bar. We were told that there was no draft beer. It took 9 minutes to take a drinks order from the person in front of us. I noticed someone say something (basically a queue jumper) and she disappeared from behind the bar to take there order which took 4 minutes!!! When she returned I pointed out that this couldn’t be right. She apologised, however, she still didn’t ask what we wanted ( a very simple three bottles of beer due to no draft). For some reason we waited another 6 minutes while she disappeared somewhere then come back then disappear again before we left. Never have I waited to be served for 19 minutes in an empty pub!! The place smells, decor is untidy and we left without a drink.

Looking at other reviews, maybe we were just unlucky...Staff were polite and the food was, if anything, a little below standard. Nothing about the experience would make me revisit.Large garden with plenty of seating though.

Stopped in here after biking at Swinley Forest. We didn't book ahead, just turned up. The garden has a reasonable number of benches and pods (undercover igloos) for everyone to sit comfortably and spaced apart. The staff were friendly and the burger was good. Although they ask your preference on how you'd like your burger cooked, they all came out the same - medium. There is a car park on site.

Went mid week and was first in - at the start it was quiet, but got busy fairly quickly which created a nice atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and considering it was only the 2 girls running the place, they did a fantastic job and we were never waiting too long for anything.Decent menu, had the soup and vegetarian 🌱 burger which was lovely. My partner had the steak which was good too.Only feedback is on the interior. Feel the place could do with renovation work to either make it into a restaurant or to make it a cozy pub. Also, things like the arrows ➡️ eg: stuck on the window, looks a bit tacky.Overall would go back again. Just some aesthetics that needs some love to make it a top local pub.

Came here for a Sunday roast which was delicious! Pleasantly surprised to find out they had an offer on roasts £9.95! Normally £13-15. Roast was excellent. Pudding was a little disappointing, for £6 it wasn't a large portion or particularly special. Overall a lovely meal here though!

Three of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious. Two of us had starters of a very good prawn cocktail and a tomato soup, this was followed by two of us having the roast lamb with lots of veg, excellent roast potatoes and Yorkshire Puddings. The other member of the family went for the special of pan fried salmon with a white wine sauce served separately, again came with a mix of vegetables. We were so full after this (the portions were extemely generous) that I am afraid we didn't have room for pudding! We also had three glasses of wine and the whole bill came to £80 including service, which we thought was really good value. We are so sorry that they will have to close because of the impending lockdown, but we were told that they will be offering a takeaway service and hopefully we can support them this way and hope others will too.
