29.3.22 Great to pop in and see old friends and catch up. Ben, Miranda and the whole team as always smiling and taking time to say ‘Hello’. Fantastic Greene King pub with a wide choice of lagers and beers.Great menu choice but would highly recommend the Fish & Chips.See you all soon.Can’t recommend Ben and his staff highly enough. Fantastic friendly pub serving amazing food. Great varied choice on the food menu and a great range on their choice of beers and spirits. Popped in for lunch on Monday and had two meals with sides and a drink. Lovely food and great service. Will definitely recommend and will be popping again.

The staff there are excellent, especially Ben, Katie, Gemma, Johnno & Miranda. They are always smiling and happy to help and will go above and beyond to give good customer service. The drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is like nothing else but that wouldn’t be possible without the staff.

Still a noisy packed pub full of life ..how a pub on a saturday night should be ..an old haunt going back nearly 40 years now and pleased to see it's a haven for the young and old still.

Moved into the area 6 months ago & was looking for a new "local " Found The Carpenters Arms & have to say what a great pub I've found ! The staff are all friendly & attentive, the food is great & very reasonable & the atmosphere is warm & welcoming. The landlord Ben has made my girlfriend & I feel as though this has been our local pub for years so can highly recommend a visitSimon & Lisa

Quite and ordinary pub however the staff were very helpful and friendly. And there are a number of TVs so I got to watch the rugby (the purpose of my visit) The beer selection is okay plenty of the standard brews Fosters etc. Craft beer and ales were generic nothing notable. All in all a satisfactory outing.

Always been great here but waited an hour for food which didn't come we had to go so had to cancel eventually got my refund after being told the food was nearly ready so could cancel to be fair did get a refund eventually but very disappointed
