Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Good value too.

Booked a last minute large table (20 in the end!) for Sunday lunch - staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. From the first telephone call through the email pre-order, taking our drinks order on arrival and dealing with our many requests for gravy and sauces, the team never stopped smiling and checking we were all OK. Food quality and value for money was great - a team who clearly care about their customers. Would definitely stop by again.

Nice pub with a room at the back for small parties. Staff were very good but had run out of prosecco very early on on a Saturday.

Fantastic customer service, top food and really good drop of real ale...had the last drop, recommended!

Booked this pub for a lunch with friends and our dogs for my birthday. Didn't know the pub before, but was very surprised with the excellent and friendly service from the staff. The food was very good and there was a reasonable choice of beers. The premises and bathroom area , (i checked with the men) were clean. I wanted to give 5 stars but couldn't justify., a lick of paint would change that. It's on a busy main road (A30) but provides ample parking. Definitely recommend.

Been meaning to come to this pub for years but yes finally went in. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Big range of drinks too. Will definitely be eating here soon!
