Best takeaway Chinese ever! Had to stop mid meal and write a review! Really fresh vegetables great chilli beef, chicken and cahsew nut in yellow bean also excellent

This takeaway has been taken over by new management, the food in my opinion is not as good, but in comparison is far more expensive, unfortunately I will not be using again. Disappointing..!!

Very good apart from the spare ribs

The food at Mei's is consistently excellent! Consequently, they are very popular, so sometimes you can wait up to an hour at peak times. I therefore recommend you phone your order in early. They don't deliver, which is my only complaint! They are only a 5 minute drive, so it's not far for me to go. Prawn crackers are now free with your order!

Great customer service. Lovely food for both vegans and non vegans. Vegan options aren't all on the menu. The ones that are, are also brilliant. Have eaten here on multiple occasion for these reasons.

Lovely Chinese, always enjoyed tasty, fresh food from here. Not sure why people are 1* rating a local family business because they’re too busy to answer the phone. Yes, it gets busy at weekends, shocker. At least you can tell it’s popular!

I hope the team have survived the lockdown as my family and I have used this takeaway for many years and always look forward to a good meal. The salt and chili squid, beef ho fun and szechuan prawns are favourites. Wish they would deliver to Bisley!

Food is actually very good, but 1* because the service is terrible, especially Friday and Saturday evenings.They don't answer the phone if people are in the shop .. if you are lucky enough to get an answer on the phone, if they say 1/2 an hour it'll possibly be an hour.It is so disappointing that what is now the only Chinese in Lightwater ( 30 years ago there was 3 ) is actually run so badly.

Worst take away ever. Rice tasteless. Chicken dry and tough and the chilli beef was so chewy and the sauce was congealed. Threw most of it away and within a few hours was being sick. I have a strong stomach normally but this was awful. Won't be going back.

I bought a takeaway from here to treat my kids. But to be honest been to the other takeaway in Lightwater & food tasted fresh & flavorsome. The chilli beef here was chewy, the pork ribs were overcooked. Im never going there again for £31 was a complete rip off and my kids really disppointed
