Mr Lau Fish Bar in Surrey Heath

I ordered the fried rice and steamed vegetables. There was no broccoli or red peppers in them. The fried rice was very quite bland and greasy. Besides only taking cash, I would not go here again.

A kid trying to pick up orders in a school uniform?!? :) As you enter you are insecure ... Thank goodness they only accept cash and so I didn't buy anything. Read reviews first.

Best fish and chips in the area! Have been coming here for 25 years and never disappointed! Good portion size and good quality.

Sweet & sour sauce was very bland and tasteless. Looked like dirty water. No flavour at all.Sweet & sour chicken balls were tough and chewy and had a fish taste to them. All most like they were cooked last week, warmed up yesterday and cooked again today Again tasteless.Quite a lot of Bruised chips too.I think food Quality and control Need to up there game.This is twice I’ve had a bad experience from them. I think the owner should taste each dish that is offered on there menu.

The most tasteless chinese I’ve ever eaten. Sweet and sour in a weird grey sauce. Chicken curry just tasted of nothingness. Maybe they ran out of MSG? No spice in the singapore noodles. Bland. Will not be using again!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered at 18:30 and told it would arrive by 19:30. After chasing it up, it moved to 20:00, then 20:20, then 20:40. Finally arrived at 20:50. They have a child manning the phone as well so it's very difficult to complain! Stop accepting orders if you can't keep up.

Never can complain. Food always arrives early and piping hot. If an item is forgotten its brought straight away. We have almost weekly and always friendly service and can never complain about the food. Thank you so much xxx

NOTE: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!A Chippy and Chinese in one. Honestly very good. It's the sort of cheap and easy place that is perfect for a chuck out on a Friday night.I got a portion of fish and chips with a battered sausage for £7. Not bad for this day an age in my eyes, and the rest of the menu seemed fairly priced as well. They on my take cash, but there is a cash point outside the Sainsbury's just round the corner.Considering it's a fair distance from the coast, the fish was good, and the chips were lovely.Would recommend. Mr Lau is clearly doing something right.
